What a film!

I just got this movie from Amazon.fr and am I glad I did! What a hoot. It is a great buddy-buddy movie, with over-the-top comedy gags, as well as some of the best cgi effects in any film. The Farris Wheel sequence is something to behold. My wife and I encourage you to get this one. Very funny, wonderful action.

Great comedy-musical!

What a treat! Every character is wonderfully and colorfully realized. The songs are indeed a breath of fresh air, similar to "How to succeed in Business without really trying". A great film for the whole family and those that loved the strip.

Watch out for Jerry Lewis [cameo role], Donna Douglas [Beverly Hillbillies], Valerie Harper [Rhoda from Mary Tyler Show and from the program of the afore mentioned name], as well as stand-out performances by Stubby Kaye as Marrying' Sam and Al Nessor as Evil Eye Fleagle.

Creaky in it's delivery, but modern in it's thoughts.

If you liked Dances with Wolves or Last of the Mohicans then this film is for you. What a joy to find a film that espoused today's ideas on the treatment of American Aboriginals back in 1932. You will find the acting a little over the top but enjoy the scenery and the story line and it will leave you thinking what happened between 1932 and the 1970 before the film industry began to deal with the treatment of the American Indians in an intelligent way.
