The Walking Dead: Acts of God (2022)
Season 11, Episode 16
10/10
If it wasn't ACTION PACKED, it was massively INTENSE
3 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This episode was SO good. I was on the edge of my seat throughout. If it wasn't fighting, gun fire or death & destruction....then it was MASSIVELY intense. Leah & Maggie stalking each other through the woods was so exciting. The way they made it silent added to the stakes massively. Their fight at the end was great too & I am happy Leah got the upper hand, before Daryl came in & wiped her out. She is ex mercenary...and Maggie's plot armour didn't save her.

The stuff in the Commonwealth was just as intense too. It's all going to come crumbling down & I can't wait to see it happen. My only complaint is I wish everyone who is at the Commonwealt, was in the room when they made that call. Rosita? Carol? Mercer? Princess? It would've been a great moment to see everyone standing round that table, sort of like "So....are we doing this?", sort of moment, because they know it will backfire on them.

Other than that though, what an episode. The music in the ending cliffhanger was phenomenal & really ramped up the stakes for 11c. I really hope this show manages to bring it home!

The Walking Dead: The Rotten Core (2022)
Season 11, Episode 14

This Episode Was GREAT
20 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
God I love Rosita & Daryl team ups. Two badasses, getting things done as always.

Carol's conversations with Lance were great. Her smile dropping when she turned her back is classic Carol! She isn't buying any of that bullsh*t!

I LOVED the Negan/Hershel scene. We needed it. I have never been one to buy into Negan's redemption arc, but this was the first ep where I feel Negan has generally shown how regretful he is for Glenn. Seeing Hershel's anger, made him cry. We needed to see that.

Leah being back has me excited. Not because I love the character, or enjoyed the reapers (I didn't), but just because it adds a lot more angst to this already exciting storyline. Things are heating up with the Commonwealth, but adding Leah into the equation...who knows what might happen.

The Start of Everything! - Can't Wait for Whats to Come!
13 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
While the premise of the plot could be considered entertaining "filler", the overall episode gives us a huge insight into the CW and what they're really doing behind the scenes. Lance has been showcased as this sneaky, power hungry criminal in the past, but this episode proves just how sinister he really is. I mean, sending out a team to slaughter a whole community, while lying too Aaron and Gabriel. Come on now.

I am happy they involved Maggie in this plot too. We are starting to build up to the 11x09 cliffhanger, and I can't wait to see what comes from it. This season is really starting to ramp up & I am excited to continue the ride. The promo for episode 14 looks even better.

The Walking Dead: The Lucky Ones (2022)
Season 11, Episode 12

Maggie Continues to Shine
6 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Good episode, but definitely building the story, which I don't mind. I feel like we are at the usual point in a season, where the episodes are very character/dialogue driven. We got our action-packed premiere, then the time jump to start the new arc in episode 10, now 11, 12 & 13 will be very story driven. Maybe even 14 too, but 15 & 16 will up the angst to a dramatic midseason finale and grand final 8 episodes.

Maggie was the best part of this episode, as always. Lauren Cohan coming back was such a blessing for this final season. I couldn't imagine it without her. Her conversations with Lance & Pamela were really interesting to watch. She see's right through the facade, and is not backing down. Eugene & Rosita have such a sweet bond as well, and I am excited to see where things go with him & Max.

The only criticism I have, is they need to stop giving Daryl scenes, that should go to other people. I love Daryl, he is a fantastic character, but there were a lot of scenes in this episode that should've been given too Aaron. Daryl already has his arc this half - the kids, becoming a soldier, and growing this bond with Mercer. Aaron's arc is Alexandria, and he should've been the pivotal focus there, but it felt like they gave most of the Alexandria scenes to Daryl, for example, Pamela talking to Daryl about Deanna...Daryl & Deanna barely shared a scene. Aaron helped her build Alexandria from nothing.

The Walking Dead: Rogue Element (2022)
Season 11, Episode 11
10/10
Enjoyable Episode, but not as good as 9 & 10.
27 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
(Giving 10/10 for the acting, the directing, the characters & the story moving. Also feel the need to rate it higher, due to the odd people who mass vote every episode with a 1/10).

Josh McDermitt was incredible. The walking dead is known for it's acting, but when I think of some of the shows best, Josh never comes to mind. This episode, particularly the scene with Lance on the stairs, was jaw-dropping. His performance was phenomenal.

I love Connie so much. What a fantastic addition to the cast. If Season 11 wasn't the last, I would be eagerly looking forward to many more years of her on my screen. Her storyline, I feel is one of the most interesting this season. Exposing the Commonwealth from the inside - not through fighting, or violence, but tactical methods. If she can get the printing team on her side, Pamela has a serious storm coming her way. I do worry for Connie's safety though, if she truly exposes what is going on.

Daryl, Rosita & Carol are the stand-outs of this episode!
20 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Wow. 11x09 was so good. Action packed, exciting and intense. I didn't think it could be topped...but honestly, I think I prefer this episode. Although its not as action heavy as previous episodes the season, it was so refreshing to get new locations, new characters, new storylines, new outfits...just new everything. It really feels like we're moving into the final arc & I am so ready for it.

I loved the Daryl & Rosita training scene. It was shot very well and Norman/Christian did an amazing job. Melissa Mcbride is phenomenal as well. Her scenes throughout were fantastic, but the acting in general was just...so good.

I loved seeing the Commonwealth in full force & I felt like the arc has been set up perfectly. Can't wait to see the rest of the season.

The Walking Dead: No Other Way (2022)
Season 11, Episode 9

Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow and WOW.
13 February 2022
This season has been rocky for me. Some parts I felt were just extremely filler and didn't find the whole "Epic Final Season" feel. The reapers were a storyline that I was massively interested in, yet fell flat post Episode 4.

I didn't think Connie's episode could be topped, but boy was I wrong. This episode was fantastic, from start to finish. Non-stop action, but not just pointless action - everything added something to the story/characters. I can't express how happy I am.

I always said that I wish they made this episode, episode 8, but I understand why they saved it. They wanted to start the second half with a bang, and they really did...literally. So so so good. I am ready to get into the Commonwealth Arc now!

Good Twists & Turns, Annoyed by ONE thing
17 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I enjoyed the series a lot. Gutted about Jackie though. Really wish they left her story open-ended, so the mystery of whether or not she's alive could still be there. Still think it would've been awesome if she rocked up at the reunion or just ANYTHING exciting happen at the reunion, but that's just me.

One thing I will point out though, is the acting is INCREDIBLE. All four women, but also young Shauna & Nat are extremely talented. The plot was intriguing throughout. Apparently the writers have mapped out plans for at least 5 seasons...so let's see how that goes. I really thought it was a limited series at first. Excited for season two though, especially with that cliffhanger.

The Walking Dead: For Blood (2021)

I think people expected a little TOO much
3 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I really enjoyed this episode. Both the Meridian & Alexandria scenes kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. I think most people are disappointed in the cliffhanger, but surely that was a given? Season 2, 3, 6, 8, 9 & 10 midseason finales have all ended on cliffhangers, leaving us anticipating whats next & picking up right where we left off. This season is no different.

I actually liked how quick Pope died, because it completely contrasted everything he was saying. When it happened with Beta, I was so mad, because Beta was always shown as the formidable force. It was annoying that he got taken out so easily. With Pope, it's almost symbolic, as that man general believed that he was God. He felt God's power through him & believed he would be protected by that, as he was the "chosen one". Having him be taken out in such a regular manner to others on this show is smart. No huge flashy death. No intense fight scene where he gets a few stabs & slices in first. Simply just dying like any average joe.

Rosita was phenomenal this episode & Cailey's acting once again was fantastic. Obviously theres a few things I would change throughout, but overall, I really liked this episode. Probably tied with episode 6 as my favourite of the season so far.

Great Set-Up!
26 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Wow. Not one bad episode in this first half & it looks like next weeks episode will be the best of them all. Fantastic dialogue, awesome cinematography & VFX. I loved the Commonwealth stuff, Yumiko is a boss! It was cool seeing real Stephanie again, asking about Eugene. That was sweet. Loved meeting Sebastian, he's just as annoying as the comics. This weeks episode wasn't as good as last weeks, but I still really enjoyed it. Next weeks episode looks phenomenal.

This episode was AMAZING. Stop blaming "bots" for good ratings!
20 September 2021
This episode was great. People all over Twitter, Instagram & Facebook were/are raving about it. If particular individuals on here didn't enjoy it, that's fine, but stop trying to claim that every 10/10 vote is coming from bots. It's not. If you click any review, they all have multiple reviews & ratings on a range of movies & shows outside of TWD. Is it that hard to believe that many actually still enjoy this show?

It's getting really annoying seeing 1 star ratings, by the same accounts every week. If you don't like it, just stop watching. Stop coming on here each week, leaving a 1 star negative review & claiming that all the good reviews must be fake or added by cast/crew.

Best Ep So Far, Eventhough It Had Little Action
12 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I love big budget action. Huge herds of walkers, fight sequences & intense battle music. This episode didn't really have that, but I still adored it. It was very character centric, but it was done in a way that felt so natural & progressed the story. The Judith/Rosita scene made me cry, the Commonwealth arc looks fantastic & the whisperer revealing Connie's whereabouts was so exciting. Another solid ep!

Fantastic from Start to Finish
10 September 2021
Season 1 was good, Season 2 was really good & from then on, the show has been phenomenal. Of course it had its ups and downs in Season 7 & 8, but I never gave up & thank god I didn't. Season 3-6 were incredible & 9-11 has bought back all the horror, action, drama and intensity. I love this show a lot, and while I am content with the decision to end, It'll be sad to say goodbye.

Okay Episode
5 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This season is DARK & I love it. Leah's return is interesting & I am happy they didn't make her this blood thirsty killer, with zero humanity.

I do wish this episode was mixed with other stuff though. I have never been a fan of character centric episodes, so it would've been nice to see some other things in this - Maggie & Negan. Elijah's whereabouts. Just something to split up all the reaper dialogue.
