The Crown (2016)
The royal family pov doesn't make any sense
From the first season, the series adapted the Royal family pov, or tbh the queen and princess Charles.
But when it comes to Princess Diana line, and prince Harry line.
It's too much, and it's so obvious that the writer adopted one pov and defending it during the last season.
Don't get me wrong the series has everything to succeed but if only the writer tried another narrative or tried to be more clever with his "hidden" message about how William is good and how Camilla suffered!! Last thing, Suddenly Margaret became a good sister after making her a horrible character in the beginning of the show, which proves that the writer just follows the queen narrative, only.
Leonardo (2021)
It could be way better..but
Let's start with the main actor, honestly he was awful, I don't know his approach to act like this with weak and hesitant character!
The script is very slow yet not very detailed, so you'll be bored without getting any information.
The first 4 episodes was the worst regarding the rhythm.
It's not informative or historical, and it's sooooo much dramatic than it should. I would say melodramatic tbh.
I enjoyed the painting and the story behind them but even that they didn't talk about them all, so what the points!
I see a wasted opportunity here for an epic series about a legend, but drama ruined it.
Emily in Paris (2020)
How to write shallow series 101
Everything about it is Everything fake with the world. A world full of fake characters, how easy and naive this Marketing job! How offensive this painting of the French society. How offensive this painting of the American minds. What about making fun of a pregnant woman and makeing you feel discussed of her! Ok let's now make a cliché English character and make him only say his girlfriend last name to frame the English accent ohh sexy, what else, let us put everything wrong together and normalize it. Let's make a show about unnecessary drama that happened to an American girl who travels to Paris to make everyone's life better, educate French people how to work, love, live. Because you know she's not just workaholic girl, no she's an American.
This is a stupid show with many stupid plot twists, not mentioning unexplained expensive clothes for everyone because you know Paris cliché.
I didn't expect this kind of trash from lily Colins, she used to pick better movies, disappointed..
Blonde (2022)
Great performance, heavy and disturbing details, unnecessary scenes
I didn't expect that amount of sadness, and misery in her life.
But I believe most of the information in the movie. Yes it maybe a little too much, because of the drama and the novel itself, but overall most of it are facts.
She lived a miserable life, she wasn't happy, and producers treat her like a sex object. And that's sucks
I didn't like the excessive amount of unnecessary nudity and sex scenes, some of them was necessary but not all of them.
I loved Ana de Armes performance.
I wouldn't recommend the movie unless I make sure that person can handle it because it's too much heavy and will leave you with a lot of negative feelings.
Why Women Kill (2019)
Season one is epic, s2 not sure!!
I loooooved season one, the complex, the casting, one house, and the intensity omg. The music is Breathtaking.
The final episode omg that's epic. I adored that episode. Also the story behind every couple was very solid.
Season 2 id sth else..not bat at all I like but it's different, doesn't go with sny of the season one's themes so I felt s little bit disappointed.
I would prefer to call it two series, very different and nothing in common except murder ofc. But still, as a series season one is way more good and special.
Casting of season 2 was fabulous too.
Great work overall.
Dark comedy is very hard to be done, but well done.
Spencer (2021)
Awful, writing and acting
I'm disappointed, first of all please this isn't a proper English accent. It makes me stop watching the movie and start watching her mouth and the weird accent!!
I don't think she was the right choice for that role, but over all I like the vibe of the movie, like a horror depressing movie, beside that it makes me confused, what was the message! And where's the vision of the script writers!!
If the movie wants us to love her, he failed. If the movie wants us to haye her, it failed. And if the movie wants us to think after seeing the story as it is then decide, it failed because it's not enough. It's a glimpse of her life in a very late stage of her marriage. And also verrry short that couldn't show reality or real problems!!!
The Angel (2018)
Good acting, but very bad and poor information
Yes Ashraf Marwan was a spy fland sold his country, but he's not a hero in the peace process. He's a traitor who sold his country for money and only money.
He's not a hero here in Egypt, and before the book and the the movie we didn't hear his name as an important character, only the one who married one of Gamal's daughters, so how could he be an Egyptian hero!!!
Very biased movie
Very disappointing.
