Chief of Station (2024)
Riveting Action Packed Story of Love and Justice
This was a wonderful movie. The pace was perfect from story lines blending together in a dynamic of bold characters, charismatic espionage and political hierarchy to deep matters of love, loyalty, revenge and ambition. This film is raw and real. I love the main characters arc and how human grief and love can drive towards truth and justice. Wonderful performances.
Favorite scenes:
the love scene between his son and his woman with candlelight and purity of youth and intimacy
The dinner scene of the main character and his wife. The blend of culture, class and a ride or die kind of love
The father son dynamic and a tale of understanding and boyhood to manhood
The torture scene was so good. From the graphic effects to betrayal portrayed to highest level of psychopathy
The story told comparing American hostages vs how the other culture handles it when speaking to the son captured
Our boedeca warrior woman and her spy nature and connection to the wife and handler relationship
A woman who's character is revealed through those who knew, loved and were loyal to her after her death
The son going from purity to finding his manhood and ripple effect of loss through murder and justice moment
Just so many amazing scenes. Great job to the director and creator Jesse and everyone involved in the
project.
