This film is blended with culture of India and I understand the limitation of film maker. He remained very cautious in almost every scene but still the movie faced a boycott campaign (I didn't get the reason of the boycott while watching the movie)

One of the biggest challenges a remake of a masterpiece face that you tend to compare the remake with original one, almost on every scene. Being a lifelong diehard fan of Forest Gump, I did the same while watching Lal Singh.

Tough you can't compare it with Forest Gump but its a nice attempt. I found two scenes of Lal Singh better than the related scenes of Forest Gump.

Watch it but without comparing it with Forest Gump, if it is possible.

This movie was on my watch list since 1996 or 1997 when I read its review in a local newspaper. I though it must be a dull movie as it is very old and procrastinated to watch until Dec 2019.

And friends, I can't tell you how much I am impressed with this movie - wonderful story, superb acting, mesmerizing cinematography and direction. And they did it in 1939 - which is really hard to digest.

I am stupid enough to miss this glory for so many years.

Its a nice movie overall but the extraordinary thing is Joaquin Phoenix! I am in love with him after watching Joker.

If they would have titled the movie 21 Hulks vs an Army of Ants then i might have liked the movie considering it a fantasy genre.

Ok, the brave 21 people might have fought with army of 10,000...but not the way they shown in the movie unless the story is based on what i have suggested 😁

Making of this movie is so pathetic that when me and my friend accidentally came across this movie on cable TV, we continuously laughed on it till the end. It was about a decade ago and we still discuss stupidities of this movie.

This movies depicts an era where human civilization was in initial stage and people even don't know any language. But you can still see fighting gorillas, tribe head wearing plastic stuff, dinosaurs throwing fire from their nostrils , people hunting dinosaurs and later a single person carrying body of dinosaur on his shoulder alone etc etc.

It was fun watching this movie...

Forrest (TOM HANKS)was unlucky when he was child...weak legs,weak mind,weak social life...when his father was not with him and every body use to ignore him....he then got his legs strong and proved the world that he can achieve as much as anyone can-----but the world still call him stupid and use to ignore him because of his simplicity and naive behavior. The love of Forrest,his struggle in life will make you cry,I bet...

THe pace of the movie is marvel and the performances are great specially TOM HANKS..he has played this role so beautifully that you use to think "THAT GUY HAS SUPERNATURAL TALENT OF ACTING".... In last I must say...If you haven't watch this movie...you are missing one real pleasure of life.
