Failure to Launch (2006)
So much toxicity in the ending segment.
While I understand that the parents are within their right to "evict" their son out of the house after six years, their way to go about it only shows how Tripp had it worse throughout this film. Paula provides a service to basically rent herself as a girlfriend to random dudes so they can man up and do something for their lives. The issue is how the movie portrays this man as a joke in the finale segment as "worthy" of getting in a real relationship with this woman just because "they look good together. A simple scene of his "parents" and "friends" where they literally watch him strapped in a chair quite literally forcing to 'talk it out' with her as if he is not allowed to deserve better for himself, the little he has left.
DOC - Nelle tue mani: L'errore (2020)
These characters are so toxic
While the whole of the series is Andrea overcoming his demons on wouldn't he has to work with literal demons like his exwife and "friend" who in his mourning moments gaslights him via insults and outright disrespect in order to "set him straight". The level of unprofessionalism in this episode is shocking.
What Is a Woman? (2022)
A testament to truth itself and its naive skeptics
My critic is mostly directed to gender ideology, you're not adding up to your cause at all. By looking for ways to force people specially parents into your misguided and quite predatory lifestyle you'll get right back into the closet. If you guys want to live in society you must be tolerant of others and not be hypocrites while also appreciating the history of your countries. Start by genuinely asking yourselves "Am I in the wrong?" if you guys decide to make this a hill worth fighting for and have a domestic conflict over you are surely mistaken if you think regular people will do nothing and comply.
Manifest: Reentry (2018)
The wife is too annoying and a troublemaker
Regardless of the timeskip the series spents too much time trying to justify or give a soft pass to the actions of the wife. While the series is a half everyday life drama it removes interest in keeping up with the events.
DOC - Nelle tue mani: Niente di personale (2020)
Kind of on the nose about building drama
The exwife of Andrea will completely justified in her anger or neutrality for things develop that still doesn't give her the permission to be stoned cold towards Andrea. I understand that's the point of the internat and external conflict regardless it makes you think about who ended up actually worse as a person.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: Liberties (2009)
Quite emotional
The plot while predictable at the beginning the development of it proves to more what it seems. The detectives realize that as well and the script makes the appropriate adjustments to meet that threshold.
The Breadwinner (2017)
Amazing
Can't say much really it was amazing, sure there were moments that felt over the top but after that, quite a magnificent film. I will highly recommend it to those interested.
Deja Vu (2006)
Kind of goofy
Make no mistake It's very well packed with actions scenes that'll captive any viewer. Apart from its execution at the initial reveal it's worth a watch.
2000 Mules (2022)
Filled with intriguing themes and questions
While they haven't announced that they'll summit the footage to law enforcement. It provides enough dilemas to satisfy it's audience and even question how elections should run.
Hancock (2008)
An epic colapse
The premise was spectacular "A broken man with supernatural abilites come to terms with his humanity and learns to be better" sadly the romance ruined it by taking away the focus from that dilemma.
I, Robot (2004)
Im kind on the middle on this one
While I recognize that the film is amazing there was always something that felt missing. The robots gave me impression that they could have done more to contribute the plot.
12 Years a Slave (2013)
Spectacular
This movie manage to make feel every raw emotion of the characters but mainly it gives an inside look to the tragedy that this men and women lived through those times.
Game of Thrones (2011)
My stance
After the 7th season it crashed for me. I adored the first 4 seasons although I acknowledge that there's always room for improvement. The directors are good adapting source material but are not wise when making original progressions.
