Don't Make Me Go (2022)
Did not expect.....
This was beautifully painful, I cried so much, it's been a while since a movie got me like this. It was refreshing especially with the fact we got away from the tragic romance tragedy stuff, not that I'm complaining about it, I enjoy that , it's just refreshing to see this type of tragedy be about family, a father and a daughter specifically. The ending really got me because she had this whole monologue about she wants their life to be when she gets older and she wants him to be around because the story is set up to be about the passing or not of the father so I was expecting either a happy ending or her grieving, not the other way around , I was not expecting that ending at all , I was like No no no no the whole time while trying not to sob , the fact that she died hurts my heart so much, I feel so incomplete and empty and I can't believe we missed all the signs and just blamed it on a stupid boy and alcohol and stress , she had a real problem and we failed to realize, I'm just heartbroken but that's how reality is , bad and unfair stuff happens to the best of us and In unexpected ways but all in all , amazing and refreshing movie, 10/10 would recommend.
La pasajera (2021)
A kind of one time thing
It was interesting, the duo was my favorite part but that was about it, all the gooey stuff or scenes made me want to vomit because I was drinking iced coffee but some of the parts were okay to watch, the women were the most annoying part imo, some parts had me like "skip" but I went back because I was like let's just give it a chance , I only stayed because I wanted to see what the ending would've been, I liked the ending a lot actually, he was just like "cheers" and accepted his fate loll...Blasco and Marta's dynamic was really fun to watch but that's about it lol.
1UP (2022)
It was refreshing
I liked it tbh, it was some nice refreshing lighthearted stuff, yeah there were some stereotypes but I mean they still exist in the real world too let's admit, I enjoyed it and honestly a leader who is having trouble playing with teammates and continuously makes moves on her own which leads to the total demise of the team? Please most gamers have been there so it was really enjoyable to watch , some of the characters are really likeable and that was great, I didn't like however the lack of interaction between parker and 8-bit at the end tho but all in all a great film , and oh yeah omg , the cute quirky nerd finally gets the girl!!!!!! I'm obsessed and I think lilly is my favorite character lmao , her and owen but yeahh.
American Carnage (2020)
It was actually good
Tbh I went into it and immediately got good vibes so It got my interest from the start, plus the whole Aquarius scene got me because im one but honestly it was actually really interesting, its nothing we haven't seen before but it seemed new , it was interesting to watch and some scenes will make you say wtf or oh hell no and that was good , I enjoyed it and I love how they filmed some of the scenes , I like the little jokes, the concept played out good to me , even though we got a landscape at the end😭, the end was beautiful and so comedic and enjoyable to me , I just loved it lmao.
Superhost (2021)
Gracieeeeee!!!!!!
It was actually a little interesting.....i think without my girl Grace Gillam...this show would be trash...i love my girl Sara cunnings #Tvd but her character Claire was so annoying and i was rooting for Rebecca (Grace Gillam) to kill her lmao...the performance of Grace Gillam as Rebecca was amazing...it made you root for her to win and it showed how talented Grace is out of Disney....the show was a bit generic but was still interesting.
The Hardy Boys (2020)
Disappointed
I remember the announcement for this and I was so excited to see what they would make out of favorite childhood books but I was seriously whiplashed... I'm 17 and I know some people will say it's modernized or whatever....as a fan of the books I must disagree, it could be modernized yes but still with the basics of the hardy boys and what the books were actually about...I've been reading the hardy boys books since I was 5...those were the only books I would read at the time beside the Nancy drew ones so I think this show butchered the books so bad and spat in the face of the fans...they could've at least stuck to the source material...because the show is almost completely unrecognizable compared to the books...those who haven't read the books probably enjoy it but it's not for me.
Never Better (2022)
it's annoying
She just wasn't a likeable enough for me to sympathize with her and it was ironic she was projecting all that fear onto amanda while she didn't care enough to take care of herself so it was hypocritical to me and i couldn't stand her, she was really defensive for no reason and instead of taking the time to explain her illness, she just projected, her character is annoying...i skipped through most of the movie.
