I have watched this show twice now all the way through and each time I watch it I find more and more amazing things about it. Sex and the City doesn't try to be anything... it just IS. Each character is so perfectly imperfect and it is absolutely beautiful to watch all of their development throughout the show. It's crazy how realistic and relatable this show is 25 years later! From all of their dating ups and downs to their very real personal issues & experiences, this show is so on point! The writing is incredible and it's absolutely hilarious. I think everyone can one some aspect of this show to relate to. It's absolutely beautiful.

This show is entertaining enough; however, you can't take it too seriously. The writing is just as bad as the original All American, but the storylines are a bit better (maybe I'm biased because I'm an HBCU grad!). None of the scripts are believable whatsoever... nor at ALL how real people act. If you go into this knowing that it's practically a soap opera, then you can certainly find some entertainment in it! There are so many moments where the acting was so poor, or the line was ridiculously corny, or the dramatic ridiculous tension that you just can't help but laugh. Definitely not my first choice, but okay enough to keep up with.

The reason I'm giving this movie a 6 is because it was extremely entertaining... but the writing was awful, all character stereotypes were over exaggerated, and it was just overall kind of corny. It definitely is a movie that is unintentionally funny.

I have no idea why there are sooo many bad reviews! I think that this show was very riveting and extremely entertaining from the first few seconds. I personally enjoyed every second (even though it could get frustrating to watch- I think that's kind of the point). It discusses marriage, stability, sex, sexual expression, modern friendship all in a new light. I felt the story to be very interesting- but what happened again the end of the sex party was frustrating and felt it lost its touch a bit from that into the last episode. Also felt like Sasha was a shady friend for sleeping with Brad... Cooper was also just such a great guy, he deserved better than what Billie was giving and that was SUPER sad to watch.

The first season was good enough to finish, but I had to stop during the second one. The seasons are too long and dragged out with so much confusion and very little clarity... the best part of it all is Priyanka Chopra's hair.
