I absolutely loved this movie. It took a new fresh direction, as a scream fan you would think you wouldn't want much change but honestly it's welcomed. Scream for this generation. Sooo much better than 4. I like 4 at the time but it hasn't aged well in my opinion. This is so fresh and clever. Just a new scream. Enjoy. And avoid spoilers.

The bad reviews are of everyone mad it's not a complete step by step copy of the original. It was good. Quick paced. I wasn't bored once. You can see it's a movie made for Broadway. I loved how they used classic songs to tell the story. Camila was really good and believable in her first acting role. I would be happy to see her on more movies! I enjoyed every minute. And my attention span isn't that great lol. Watch and see for yourself. Ignore the low scoring.

Disappointing traps. Disappointing acting (Chris Rock was so annoying) like an episode of law and order with a very predictable twist. Guessed it straight away. Just bad in general nothing good about it. It got 2 stars for raising issues about police brutality.. but even that wasn't executed to the best it could have been.

Forget what people are saying about this film being garbage, we get they expected it to be a cannibal slasher like it's predasesors. It's a whole new movie, whole new plot. And it delivers really well. A solid 7. Just watch it for yourself and don't be fooled by the bitter reviews. It's a really good stand alone movie
