A solid installment.

As former military, I'm particular about realism. Although this movie had it's share of cinematic liberty, for a sniper movie, it was actually quite good.

Loved the scenes of the destroyer, it felt very real.

It was just a good, action-packed "heavy on the sniper action" flick. If you like military movies, specifically sniper movies, you'll enjoy it. You won't say it's the best sniper movie ever, but you'll watch it to the end.

A little too much cheese at times, but it´s forgivable on such a low budget as this.

It had it's snicker moments for sure, but pretty much action-packed from beginning to end, which I love.

Awesome movie.

Done watching this movie and I would definitely say it was a good movie.

The story is really interesting on how the main villain is a genie who wants to enslave the Earth. There's a lot of great things about this movie like the history of Djinn and the practical effects of the movie. It's also creative to have a Genie to be a slasher villain since there's a lot of creative death scenes in the movie. I also like how the movie ends, since it's pretty unique.

The cgi effects are also well made. I really like the makeup effects on the creatures.

All in all a 9 for me, just for the effort of making a movie like this.

The Inhabitant is here.
20 October 2023
It's got a pretty cool concept going for it even if it's not executed as well as it could've been.

The creature is unique in that it is more like a supernatural force for a majority of the film.

We get some interesting deaths scenes, the invasion of the castle is well orchestrated and full of nods to other classic stories.

It's still not the greatest thing ever but it's a fun time and has a lot of elements that make it worth checking out.

For a low-budget effort, however, it is well made, but i wish it would be better, with more horse fighting scenes and more dark lore to the inhabitant curse. 8/10.

Happy birthday Jason, finally you are back.
11 March 2023
Jason is back better than ever, the story brings us back to basics and we see Jason without the mask, stalking the teenagers at camp blood.

The cast is alright but the thing that i liked most was Jason as a child getting out of the water, after he drowned or it seems to be.

Mrs Voorhees is also in his head along with her voice, telling him to kill Even without the friday themes, the soundtrack is pure evil and filled me with energy, to see what would happen next.

In this one he runs a lot chasing his victim.

And not the walking around and appearing in front of them and just killing them.

I will give the movie a solid 8 out of 10.

He is more smart here, he plays with them, and then kills them.

The Hunted (I) (2022)

Warning: Spoilers
As a critic, I am speaking about the film's facets, as a movie-goer, I want the story to stand out and speak for itself. If there is the point where I meet my expectations, this film does that job.

Lawson has a lot of skills but the enemies don´t know that, that´s why they become his prey.

He is not the hunted, he is hunting them, it makes us be on his side, as he tries to reach the extraction point.

He´s not an invincible soldier, he fractures his leg, and as to overcome the pain of that, as he kills the soldiers in the woods, a very special film filled with action, suspense and most of all very silent, cause our hero doesn´t talk at all, his action talk for him.

A great movie from director Rui Constantino that elevates him to a status of the king of b-movies.

Michael returns home and hides in the shadows

While not perfect, "Halloween Prodigal Son" is a wonderful fan sequel in the HALLOWEEN series.

"HPS" has a great opening scene and an action packed climax, thanks to David Loomis (Miguel Dias) there´s room for a sequel here, and i really would like to see what´s coming next, so i hope a sequel his announced sooner than later.

The performances are really strong and the film has some suspenseful moments.

8 out of 10, entertaining, jumpy moments.
