Love Elliot as Houston
21 April 2022
I've always thought this was a very accurate portrayal of Houston. I think he was just the way Elliot presented him. This is a part of Texas history that I love to explore. The 6 week retreat and final battle for Texas Independance.

Texas Ranger-No gun
10 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Stupid-Walkers new partner, a Texas Ranger, does not carry a gun. She is supposedly good at hand-to-hand but more realistic would just show her get shot from 15 feet away but of course they won't do that..

However, I do like the show even though it is quite the Soap Opera.

You just learn to deal with things like this coming out of Hollywood.

Loved since I was a kid myself
5 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I saw this movie for the first time on TV when I was about the same age as these boys and it has been my favorite John Wayne movie ever since. Roscoe Lee Brown has great chemistry with both Wayne and the Boys and some great moments.

When I saw it as a kid it was edited for Television, which was probably good considering when I finally got to see the uncut version I was surprised at how bloody it was.

I do like that each of the boys have there different personalities and the job "interview", riding the Bronco still cracks me up.

But this movie hits all the emotions. The Dukes interaction with his wife, his relationship with the boys and Brown. The showdown with Long Hair was great. Dern is still one of the best and scariest bad guys I have seen in film. All are just right on IMHO.

One of the Best Chase scenes
17 September 2021
I love Willie in this and Redford is spot on. But the Chase scene where Police are after him and Sonny is on horseback I think is just great. Great story about dealing with a corporation and how they suddenly change their minds when they find out how their customers really feel.

Sorry Jane, can't get over your past.
