Life and Death Row (2014)
Astonishingly good the BBC at its best !
I love true crime documentaries and for me this is the bench mark. This is why we pay the tv license because the BBC is capable of quality programmes like this. No annoying voice over explaining things like you're 5 years old.
This documentary is quality not just on the subject matter but the cinematography, the music/soundtrack which create the perfect dark atmosphere for something so dark really as it doesn't get much worse then the state killing people someone of whom are likely innocent.
I think the makers also made another top series called 'Love and hate' which has one of the scariest documentary episodes I've ever watched.
Colin from Accounts: Bandit (2022)
Character hole in the episode
Great series but not sure what happened in this episode. Ashley's character in first few episodes suggests she's a bit socially awkward and wouldn't have such 'cool' friends as she does in this episode.
She doesn't like 30 tbh and and 30 year olds don't still act like this(taking ketamine) they are so vein arrogant and carless which would makes sense if they were early to mid 20s I thought.
Also why does she treat Gordon so badly!? I think this the episode after he accompanied her to her mad mum and creepy stepdads but in this episode her mates are trashing Gordon's business and she says and does nothing. He does act a bit tense but nothing to warrant her behaviour. Really out of character for me. Maybe it's explained in the next episodes but thought it was really strange.
Still, it's very funny on the whole and the series is 8/10 for me. Looking forward to the next one.
