So you got a somekind of super soldier here seeking his brother in a vc camp with more than 100 enemy soldiers, this guy enters it with 3 more soldiers, and it´s a great war within it, he managed to find his brother, and just to get him out and get to the extraction point, he has to clear all of them.

Great soundtrack reminded me the 80´s classic war movies A low budget gem made with an incredible effort to bring a good action film, about 2 brothers, and the strong bond that makes them unite agains the vc enemy forces, in a war they can´t win, but try to.

All in all i´m giving this one an 8.

An ancient Djinn is released into modern day and if he can get the person who released him to wish three times, all hell is unleashed.

Wow he was evil. Yes, I'm aware all the horror villains are, but this guy manipulates you into wishing for something in order to kill (and damn) you for it. Though, I do like the creativity and creepy irony in some of the deaths.

There are so many great things here, beginning with the cast !

We got Miguel D. Dias as the boss who wants to convince the director of the movie Rui Constantino who also stars as the leader of the expedition James, to lead an expedition to the mountains of kaf to discover the secret treasure there.

But things go bad when he accidentally opens the seal to the tomb of the lord of wishes, from there, once is out, he releases creatures from hell, he possesses people, he kills a lot of people in the most vicious way, a gory good time to spend on christmas day.

Lots of easter eggs.

The quality of the cinematography, solid acting and good action is what makes this such a great film.

The Hunted is a unique action movie that deserves your time. Its pacing is slow and methodical, purposefully scripted as such to match the film's title no doubt. The slow burn of the story and the film's execution is almost reminiscent of a 70s film before massive explosions.

A very different movie from this director that brings something new to the table.

The soundtrack is amazing and mesmerizing, and haunts the forest as our lead man hunts all of the mercs down, in the most vicious ways, with traps just like in nam.
