Angelina's best Movie so Far
31 May 2008
Actually I wanted to see this movie but I missed it ( it didn't run that long here in Germany), so I had to wait six months and yesterday I rented this movie in the library. I was very excited about this movie because I saw the trailer and I read some good reviews. And the reviews are all right!

This movie is excellent.

Angelina's performance is awesome. She had to play such a strong woman and she did it very very well! I know that there are so many haters of this movie but I don't understand them, I don't see why they're hating this brilliant movie with political background. The plot is very interesting, not just because it is a true story, no also because it shows the danger of today's world. It is about a journalist who is kidnapped in Pakistan and about his wife who tries everything to save his life... I really liked Angelina's french accent, it was really good ( okay I heard the German voice but it was very good).

I think that everybody who likes true stories, Angelina Jolie and a very interesting, emotional movie with political background should rent this movie to see an unbelievable movie with excellent actors/actresses ( I also wanna mention Archie Panjabi, I hadn't heard of her before but know I know her and that's good because I think she will be huge after such a great performance!)

Best Movie of Angelina Jolie so far.....only her performance in 'Girl, Interrupted! can be called that good!

It is absolutely worth-seeing!!!!

Knocked Up (2007)
6/10
Little Disappointed
19 January 2008
Well see, I'm a huge fan of Katie Heigl. She's just such a great actress, she's so talented and gorgeous. She acted well in this movie too. All the actors/actresses acted well.

The beginning of 'Knocked Up' really disappointed me. I was so looking forward to see this movie but I think the beginning is just a bit ordinary. It was a little boring. But there's one dialog I laughed so much about, this is probably one of the bests: Jack: We decided that, we want you to be on camera. Alison Scott: Oh my god, really? Jill: I know, I was so surprised too. I love what Jill says. What I really loved to was the unshown scene in which Alison interviews Eva Mendez, it's very funny what they're talking about and how Alison reacts on what Eva says. Great scene! Why wasn't it shown in the movie?

The part of the movie where Alison and Ben try to live together, is very funny and I started to enjoy watching the movie. It became very funny. All in all this movie shows how fast it could happen to lose his single life because of a one One-Night-Stand. I think this movie shows good the risk but it's not like a documentary it's a comedy which shows it and I think this is great. Seth Rogen and Katie Heigl were such a great screen couple and I could imagine to see them in another movie too. There was such a great chemistry between them. But I really want to mention Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann too because they really did a great job too, even I think that Paul's acting wasn't as good as I know it from 'Friends'. Well, this was a nice entertainment but it's not the best comedy I've ever seen. It's average. But watch it yourself to see if you think other!

Friends (1994–2004)
10/10
The One That's The Best
18 January 2008
Warning: Spoilers
Friends is just so funny and cool. It is really the best TV comedy show ever! It has everything a good TV show should has. A perfect storyline, perfect location and of course the whole cast! The characters, writers, producer all did they a great job...no they did a brilliant job! There is not one only episode you could hate! They are all funny and the cast is so good that you really love every episode even it's maybe a little bit boring but there are just about 3 episodes of all you could say they are maybe not as interesting as the others. The location is mostly the purple apartment of Monica and Rachel. There the friends sit and talk. But they are often in the café on their street, the 'Central Perk'. But now, let me talk about the most brilliant cast in TV history:

Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston):Rachel was a spoiled rich girl before she came in the pilot into the 'Central Perk'. She left her almost husband at the altar and lived on her father's money until Monica cut her credit carts. Rachel gets a job as a waitress in 'Central Perk' but she is very bad but after a while she takes a job in a fashion store, something she really likes.

Monica Geller (Courteney Cox Arquette):Monica is the cleaning friend. Everything has to be perfect. The apartment's always clean, just everything! She's the sister of Ross. Monica works in a restaurant what she always wanted to be. In her youth she was really fat but no as an adult she's very slender. Later she marries Chandler her brother's college friend.

Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow):Phoebe is the crazy one! She's the one who fights for animal rights, she's also a vegetarian. But what makes her really crazy is her story. She was married to a gay skater, her mother killed herself and as a teenager she lived on the street. But the craziest thing is that she gets the babies of his younger brother Frank. She believes in many things(i.e.she thinks that her mom comes back to her in a cat...)what makes her weird. She works as a masseuse. I just think that Phoebe is the coolest because she is so crazy what makes her the funniest female character.

Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc):Well, you could say that Joey is the dumb one. He tries to be an actor but he doesn't really get good roles so that he has just very little money. But the women love him. Almost every week he's another woman in his bed. He lives in the apartment of Chandler, his best friend, right across the floor, in front of Monica and Rachel's apartment.

Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry):The sarcastic one! The funniest one! The kind of loser. He's just the coolest because he's funny. He works in a firm but none of his friends does really know what he does. He lives together with his friend Joey. But he's the total different to Joey. He hasn't many women. But his advantage is that at the end of season 7 he marries Monica who's the love of his life. To my opinion Chandler is the best one, because he's funny and just cool.

Ross Geller (David Schwimmer):Ross is the smartest, but he has the problem that he always has to be right. He works in a museum has two children and is a three times divorced guy. His first marriage didn't work because his wife became a lesbian. The second one didn't work because at the altar Ross said the name of the wrong woman and the third one was a Vegas marriage, so you know what happens don't you? His big love is Rachel. After a while they are together but Ross' jealousy breaks everything. Then they are back together but then they break up again. It's like driving a roller-coaster. But maybe this is the miracle that makes "Friends" one of the most successful series ever in the American TV history.

You see there are many different things, some very crazy but because of that very funny things. So you should definitely watch it. It's no waste of time! In no way! Just try it! You'll like it.

We are the Robinssons!
19 August 2007
Rumor has it...this is Jennifer Aniston's best comedy so far! This is like the funniest movie I've seen for a long time! Jennifer is brilliant in this movie, so funny, so sexy, just brilliant! Jennifer = Sarah Huttinger Shirley MacLaine is maybe a grandma so many people dreaming of. She is cool, she is funny and the way she speaks is so amazing, so funny, e.g. "He's a horny old bastard!". And she feels younger than she even is, she wants to be younger and becomes angry if Sarah calls her "grandma": " Don't call me grandma!" Shirley = Catharine Richelieu Mena Suvari is top! She is such a great actress and shows us that in this brilliant movie! She's beautiful, funny and I just like her and her character, Annie Huttinger. Kevin Costner is Beau Burroughs. Also a very funny character and I think Costner did a great job, he's excellent in this movie! But I wanna tell you more later. And then there is also Mark Ruffalo who plays Jeff Daly, Sarah's fiancé. Great acting, very funny. You're gonna hear more about him later!

So here's the story: Annie is going to marry her fiancé Scott. So Sarah and her fiancé come to her wedding from New York to Sarah's home town. There she meets Scott the first time and she meets her family after a long while again. Her sister Annie is so exciting of getting married the next day. But on this evening there's a party at the Huttinger's house. There Sarah hears that her mother slept with another guy one week before she married Sarah's father Earl. Okay, this isn't that bad for Sarah but then Jeff tells her that she was born exactly nine weeks after her parents wedding. That makes Sarah thinking. Now she knows that they are the family in "The Graduate": "We are the Robinssons!". So she flies to San Francisco where Beau Burroughs lives. She asks him some questions but later he tells her that he couldn't be her father because he has a "Blunt Testrical Trauma". He says that somebody "kicked the wrong balls", later we see that Earl Huttinger kicked "the wrong balls". So he couldn't be Sarah's father, which doesn't seem to make Sarah happier, because this was her only explication why she is so strange. She doesn't like tennis and she drives very bad...her family likes tennis and drives very carefully. Sarah gets drunk in this night and wakes up in the bed of Beau Burroughs. Now she slept with him, his grandma and mother too. Later this evening she goes to a ball "People still go to balls?". There she meets Blake Burroughs, Beau's son. Now she thinks that she'd slept with her father: "Oh my god, I slept with my father!" Her moves are so funny!

Now I don't wanna tell you more! Watch Jen's best comedy yourself! You won't waste your time it is excellent entertainment! 9 out of 10 stars for "Rumor has it..."

Summer Catch (2001)
6/10
One time entertainment
18 August 2007
So I've just watched "Summer Catch" on TV. I've already seen Freddie Prince Jr. in "I know what you did last summer" and "I still know what you did last summer" and in one episode of "Friends" and I have to say that I kinda like him as an actor. This was my first Jessica Biel movie and I've to say that she is really good! And then there is also Brittany Murphy....she is a great actress. I like her since I've watched "Say no Word"....but she's also excellent in "Girl Interrupted" and "8 Mile". In this movie she shows us her slutty side...well-done!

This movie is very funny but I think that I won't watch it a second time because it wasn't that good... There were also some very emotional scenes which I'd personally liked. One scene was very emotional, the one where Ryan's best friend told him that he's very proud of him and that he's his best friend....this scene was very emotional....very good!

The story: There's Ryan who works with his father as gardeners in Cape Cod. Cape Cod is famous for his baseball. One year Ryan wants to become a professional baseball player and joins the competition. While he's joining the competition he's still a gardener and works for some rich persons. Then he sees Tenley the daughter of those rich people. He fells in love with her and they have a great time together....!Very Funny! The scene where Ryan and Tenley are swimming together in the pool and her father sees them....very funny, watch it yourself! If Ryan becomes a professional player and if Tenley goes to San Francisco to work for her uncle you have to watch the movie yourself...I won't tell you the ending....is it a happy one or a bad one?

It's not a waste of time but there are many other (better!) comedies, romances out there!

6 out of 10 stars.

The Good Girl (2002)
10/10
One of Jen's best!
31 July 2007
The Good Girl! This is an amazing movie! It's one of Jennifer Aniston's best movies so far! This was my first movie with Jake Gyllenhaal, he is okay but I don't like him very much....I don't know why.

The story: Justine is 30 years old. And she has her midlife crisis. Justine hates her life! She hates her job. She works at a supermarket "Retail Rodeo". But her job is so boring! She also kinda doesn't like her husband. Phil, her husband, and Rubba, her husband's best friend, are painters. Phil drinks very much and because of that he is unfertile. Justine wants to have a baby, Phil too. Her life is crappy.........'til that special day. There is a new assistant in the supermarket, Holden. His real name is Tom but he doesn't really like this name because his parents call him with that name. He is 22 years old and lives at his parent's house. One day Justine and Holden kiss. Next day they go to a motel to sleep together. Nobody knows this....not even Phil. But one day, after they had had sex at the motel, Justine sees Bubba's car in front of the motel. When she comes home Bubba is there and tells her to come to his house after work. Next day she goes there and he tells her that he know about her and Holden. He wouldn't tell it Phil if she sleeps with him. She doesn't want Phil to know so she sleeps with Bubba. A few days later Justine gets pregnant. Bubba or Holden will be the father. She tells Phil that she is pregnant and she also tells him that he'll be the father. One day Holden steals 15,000 from the supermarket's safe to walk away with Justine. She already packed her stuff but then....then she becomes the good girl.....the brave girl.....

The End! I don't wanna tell you the end...watch it yourself!

It is a brilliant movie with excellent actors, amazing Jennifer Aniston and a very good story! Watch it, it is absolutely worth seeing!

10 out of 10 stars for one of Jen's best movies so far!

The O.C. (2003–2007)
9/10
Welcome to "The O.C."!
23 July 2007
Welcome to "The O.C.". Orange County. Newport Beach. This is where the show is mostly set. One episode was in L.A.(in that episode Paris Hilton is special guest) and one in a Mexican town. Together with his brother Trey(Logan Marshall-Green) Ryan steals. His family is very poor. On one day Sandy Cohen (Peter Gallagher) comes to take Ryan to his new family...the Cohens. The Cohens are very rich and live in Newport Beach. And very rich town at the sea. His new 'brother' and later best friend is Seth (Adam Brody). And his new mother is Kirsten (Kelly Rowan).

Her father is Caleb Nichol (Alan Dale). He is the reason why Kirsten and her sister Hailey Nichol (Amanda Righetti- it's a pity that she had such a small role- she is so hot !) are so rich. But later more about him.

Now I wanna talk about Ryan's new neighbors- the Coopers. There is Jimmy Cooper (Tate Donovan). He is very rich but then he loose all his money. When his wife Julie (Melinda Clarke) finds that out, she wanted to be divorced. Then there is their beautiful daughter Marissa(Mischa Barton). She and Ryan fall in love. But in season three they break up and she meets Kevin Volchock (Cam Gigandet). They get together but in the seasons finale she breaks up with him. While she is driving home together with Ryan, Kevin follows them and urges them of the road. They fall down a hill. Ryan survives but Marissa dies. This is to my opinion the most upset moment in the whole show. Marissa has a sister Kaitlin (Willa Holland). She gets a bigger role in season 4. After Julie's and Jimmy's divorce, Julie meets Caleb and after a while they marry. They build a huge house where she lives together with her daughter Marissa. Kaitlin is on a boarding school. But on one night Caleb dies because of a heart attack. This is why Kirsten gets alcohol-dependently at the end of season 2.

Before Ryan moved to Newport Beach he had a girlfriend. Theresa Diaz (Navi Rawat). After Marissa and Ryan break up he moves together with Theresa. But after a while they break up too. Then after a few weeks Theresa comes to Ryan to tell him that she is pregnant and that it will be his child.

And then there is a very important person. Summer Roberts. At first she doesn't considers Seth, who loves her since the first day. But after a while they get a couple. Their relationship is the one that holds longest.

I give this show 9 stars of 10 because I think that the show lost with every season a bit tension. But all in all it is one of the best shows ever!

My first Alejandro Amenábar movie and I liked it.
20 July 2007
Warning: Spoilers
Abre los ojos......abre los ojos.... open your eyes.....open your eyes.... This is how the movie begins...

César is a real playboy. He sleeps with a woman for one time and then he never calls them again. But one night he sleeps with Nuria, what he doesn't know is that she seems to love him very much. But on his birthday party he meets Sofia(Cruz), his best friends girlfriend. Nuria is also on his birthday party and sees him leaving the apartment with Sofia, after Pelayo, his best friend, left.

The next morning: César left Sofia's apartment and wants to drive home when he sees Nuria waiting in front of the apartment. She asks him if she should bring him home. He says yes and that's how he comes into her car. What he didn't know is that she thinks about committing suicide. So they drive along the street and in one moment Nuria drives against a wall. She's dead, César survives but he lost his face. After that event César wears a mask to cover his real face. He comes into a psychiatry because he killed somebody, but César doesn't know what happened. Together with his psychiatrist he tries to remember what happened. And he remembered. One night he slept with Sofia but he hadn't seen Sofia, he saw Nuria so he was that confused that he pulled a cushion on her face so she couldn't breath. But there was something else that he remembered. He remembered that he signed a contract. And this contract is from a company for "Life Extension". So he and his psychiatrist drive to this company and talk with the boss and find out that everything that César did was a dream. His body had been frozen 150 years ago and he lived a dream with all the people he loved. To wake up he had to jump from a building. He did and that's how the movie ends.

This is a great movie. My second Spanish movie and I like both very much. Alejandro Amenábar is great director. Now the actors. Eduardo Noriega was great. He played fantastic. He had to be funny and in the next moment he had to be terrific and confused. He did a great job. Perfect cast for this role. And then there is Penelope Cruz. I knew that she is a great actress...but now I know that she is brilliant. She is so beautiful in this movie you want to die lol And she did a excellent job too. She played fantastic. So I would say that this movie should get 9 stars because it is that good. Absolutely worth seeing!

Weeds (2005–2012)
9/10
Very funny....Weeds
21 June 2007
So I'd just watched until season 2 episode 2 but I wanted to comment on this title. I think this series is unbelievable good...but to my opinion it is just for younger people. My parents don't understand why I do like this series so much. They don't really get this series . But it is a really funny and great series. I'm always looking forward watching "Weeds" next Wednesday! It is definitely one of the best new comedy series. Now, I want to describe the characters a little bit.

At first there is Nancy Botwin. After her husband had died she needed a new job to supply her two kids and her brother-in-law Andy who came after his brothers death and lives at Nancy's home. So she started dealing with drugs.....to be more exact...dealing with Weed. =>"Weeds". I think she is the most funny character on "Weeds". She really deserved the Golden Globe which she'd won in 2006. But I don't get it...she hadn't had an Emmy yet? Hope she'll get one this year! Silas is Nancy's oldest son. He has a deaf girlfriend called Megan. But in season 2 episode 2 they break-up because Megan can go to Princton, so Silas want to quit school. Shane is Nacy's second son. After his father's death he is really crazy. He makes movies in which he cut back some other kids. One day he bit some boy into his foot. This is how Nancy met Peter. Peter is her new boyfriend, but they also break-up in episode 2. I don't know if they come back together because I haven't seen enough now. Nancy's friend is Celia Hodes. Celia got cancer so she had to wear wrong hairs. I think it looks really great. By the way I think that Elizabeth Perkins is the hottest woman on "Weeds". Nancy's Employer is Heylia. She procures the Weed for Nancy. Together with Conrad, Heylia's son, Doug, Nancy's tax counsel and Andy, Nancy wants to cultivate their own weed.

You see it is a really funny story with great actors/actresses. I really love Mary Luise Parker. She is such a great actress! Elizabthe Perkins is really good too. I think she really deserves an Emmy or Golden Globe.

I give this series 9 out of 10 stars. It doesn't get the whole 10 stars because sometimes it is a little bit....stupid, but it's a great series.....watch it! You'll enjoy it.

New York Minute (I) (2004)

I don't know why all the people hate this movie it's funny!
16 June 2007
This is probably the best comedy which I've seen for about two months now. I laughed so much. It is an excellent comedy and I don't get it why all the people hate this movie. Because of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen? No they are such nice, funny, beautiful girls/young women. They are also great actresses! So why you hated that movie? The story was funny.

At first I didn't know if I should watch this movie because everybody hated it but then I'd watched it and I was surprised! It is great.

The story: It's Jane's most important day in her academical life! If she got the scholarship she could go to Oxfort. Far far away from her annoying sister Roxy. Jane had to hold a speech in New York City. Roxy had to go to New York City too. So they went their together. But it gets very chaotic. At first they are thrown out of the train and then they are threatened by some "gangster".

The story is so funny. I could not stop laughing. Watch it and you'll see that it is good!

Ashley and Mary-Kate are great actresses. 8 of 10 stars for that funny kind movie.

The Forgotten (2004)
7/10
Good but confusing
27 May 2007
So I've just watched "The Forgotten" on TV. At first I was really surprised how good that movie is. But the second half was very confusing.

The story: Telly's (Julianne Moore) son Sam died because of a plane crash. She was so upset and couldn't stop thinking of Sam. She visited Dr. Jack Munce, her psychologist. But after a while the pictures and videos of Sam disappeared. At first Telly thought her husband would vanish the pictures. But when she talked to Dr. Jack Munce next time he told her that she had never had a son. She couldn't believe that and ran away to proof that she had a son. But everybody told her that she had never had a son and there were no articles about a plane crash in the news paper. Than she met Ash, whose daughter also disappeared after the same plane crash. Ash didn't know that he has a daughter but suddenly the memory of Lauren, his daughter, came back. Ash and Telly tried to find their children together....

Julianne Moore's acting was excellent. She acted so good I was really upset and yeah she did a great job!

There are also two well-known actresses: - Alfre Wooodard, we know her from Desperate Housewives. She's acting Det. Anne Pope. She investigated the case of Telly. At first she investigated against Telly but then she believed in what Telly told her and tried to help her. But she was settled by the guys who kidnapped the children.

  • Jessica Hecht, we know her as Susan Bunch on the series "Friends" as Carol's lesbian partner. In this movie she has just a very small part...she plays Telly's neighbor Eliot. Even Eliot doesn't remind of Sam.

All in all it was a good but bit confusing movie. 7 of 10 stars.

Happy Endings (2005)
8/10
Didn't like it at the first time but after the second time.....
13 May 2007
I was so looking forward to see that movie because of Lisa Kudrow! I wanted to rent it in the library but it wasn't there so I decided to buy it in a store. To be true I was a bit confused when I'd seen the movie the first time and I was disappointed of the movie. But then, after I'd slept one night over it, I was really looking forward to see that movie again. So I met my friends and we watched the movie together. My friends didn't like the movie! They hated it and asked me why I bought such a movie!? But after I'd seen the movie the second time I was overwhelmed by that movie. And today it is my second favorite Kudrow movie!

Lisa Kudrow plays Miriam "Mamie" Toll. She listens to young girls who want to have a abortion. Miriam got pregnant when she was 17 years old. The father of her kid is her stepbrother Charlie. Her parents want her to drive off her kid. She drives to Phoenix for having the abortion. But she can't do it but she told nobody, even Charlie, that she hadn't had the abortion. Now 19 years later she meets a guy called Nicky. He's a documentary film maker who knows where her son lives. He would tell her if she let him film their first meeting. Lisa Kudrow shows us in that movie, that she can be also serious and not just funny. I think she was brilliant in that movie.

But it is not just Lisa Kudrow who plays in this wonderful movie! There is also Maggie Gyllenhaal who I, by the way, really like. She is such a great actress! But in this movie......uh..... She is such a bad person in Happy Endings! You know....when she sits in the club with her friend she is talking about sleeping with her cousin's husband. Isn't that rude? And her cousin was in the club too! And then, when she rotated Otis the head, she let him fall and took his father and played with him. But now I know that she can also play a rude person! She's a brilliant actress!

Laura Dern is just a supporting role! She plays Pam, a lesbian who has a kid. Later in the movie it turns out that Gil is the father of her kid. Gil is played by David Sutcliffe. Maybe you know him as Rory's father in "Gilmore Girls". He plays a gay who is together with Miriam's (Lisa Kudrow) brother Charlie!

Result: If you love Lisa Kudrow or Maggie Gyllenhaal you have to watch this movie. It is a must seen! You will love it, even if you are confused at the first time. Sleep one night about it and watch it then a second time. Great movie but a bit confusing at the first time that's why I give "Happy Endings" just 8 of 10 stars.

Best German Movie Ever! (Which I've seen)
5 May 2007
Warning: Spoilers
Well, I always thought that Germany can't do great movies, but now I know it can! I was surprised that it was so unbelievable good! The story of Uschi Obermaier was filmed excellent. The movie shows the audience the height and depths of Obermaier's life. And to be true, I love Natalia Avelon. She looks like Uschi Obermaier and I think that she is the perfect actress for that role. Her hair style is almost the same (in the movie). I had watched the movie with a friend and she thought it is too sexual she didn't like it, but I did! OK, it would be better if Keith Richards would be played by a English actor but it is okay. I think it is also good that there are parts which are just spoken in English. I love English so I really enjoyed it. The film locations are perfect. I am overwhelmed by that bus in which they drive through the world in six years. Now the acting: Brilliant! Natalia is sexy, what she has to be in that kind of movie. She acts so amazing. She can play funny scenes but also serious ones. Especially in the scene where she looses her baby or where her husband dies she shows us that she can also play sad movies. The music is excellent. I love that song "Summer Wine". Natalia Avelon sings that song herself! Well, I can only say that everybody who likes hot women and excellent movies should go in it.

10 of 10 stars!

How can one person have so much misfortune?
10 February 2007
I've never known how one only person can have so much misfortune- 'til now. That movie is excellent! The movie shows us what life can be. We have to work for what we dream of. And we have to fight for it. Don't let you tell by other people that you can't do the things you want to do! That's what Will Smith wants to tell us in that movie.

He lived together with his wife Linda and his son Christopher in a small apartment in San Francisco. The couldn't pay the rent. And then Chris' wife Linda left him and Christopher. They had to move into a motel. But after a longer time they were thrown out of the motel. They walked through the city but couldn't find any apartment to sleep in. So they had to sleep in a bathroom in the subway. That was the most emotional scene in that movie. Chris and Christopher were sitting in the bathroom and when Christopher had fallen into sleep Chris (Smith) had begun to cry. It was so emotional! The most emotional scene in this movie. He worked hard to get money to find a apartment to sleep in or to buy food. Another emotional scene was, to my opinion, the scene in the church where so many poor people stood and prayed to god and were crying.

To see what some people live like is very hard. To see in what misery they do live every day.

I think Will Smith should win the Oscar for that role! He was so brilliant!

I gave that movie 10 of 10 stars, because it was so brilliant, so emotional and had a perfect cast!

Worst horror movie ever!
10 February 2007
I think this movie is the worst horror movie ever! The story is so boring and the action, too! I don't know why anybody likes that movie, but this is my opinion. When I watched the movie I've known that I won't watch the other ones. There was no tension. I fell asleep while I was watching Final Destination. The way the people died was so unreal and boring. Somebody was killed because the fire escape fell at him.Oh, please that was so ridiculous. Just the acting was acceptable.

I gave that movie 2 of 10 stars because of the acting. It was acceptable.

That's why I gave the movie 2 of 10 stars.

One Of The Best Comedies I've Ever Seen!
6 February 2007
I think this is one of the best comedies I've ever seen, because I laughed so much! And I think that movie had a perfect cast! Gwyneth Paltrow was brilliant and very sexy! And Christina Applegate was very good, too! Candice Bergen was fantastic, Kelly Preston, too.

The story: - Donna(Paltrow) is afraid of living with a bad job in Silver Springs. After she had seen an interview with America's most famous stewardess Sally Watson(Bergen), she knew that she wants to become a stewardess. But at first she had to work in a small plane, before she has got into a training program of "Royalty Airlines". She is so close to get this job but then her friend Christine(Applegate) puts her number on Donna's test and gets the job.

There were so many scenes I laughed about so much. For example the scene where Donna and Sherry sat in front of the passengers and Donna heard a noise and asked: "What was that?" Sherry: "The Wheels!" "We lost our wheels?", asked Donna, "Oh my god, we'll crash!". But I also laughed about Donna's looking when she was on the boat with Christine. That red sunglasses, so funny! I laughed so much!

Result: Great movie, with a perfect cast. Absolutely worth seeing.
