Khoyout Al Ma'azeeb (2024)
a Saudi Master Piece
It tells a period dating back to the 1950s in Saudi Arabia.
The series is about a historical period in the Al-Ahsa region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the story revolves around the weaving of the "Bisht" or "Mishlah," which is the cloak worn by Arab men, and is a common term.
It tells a period dating back to the 1950s-1970s in Saudi Arabia
An elite group of Saudi actors and a group of rising acting stars participated in it.
The series tells the story of the struggle over water to irrigate farms and the power elite "bu essa" over boys workers.
With interesting dramatic events, the Saudi series is Master Piece.
A Man Called Otto (2022)
coffee table and the exhaust gas
The scene of Otto's first suicide, the coffee table disappeared and then returned to the scene.
The other scene committed suicide in the car. Otto did not seem affected by the smell of gas when he went out to meet Marcelo, and he did not smell the gas.
I liked the flashback in the movie, the transition between the present and the past, and making the viewer eagerly await the events of the story
Actor Tom Hanks also brought us back with his dazzling performance that makes you laugh and cry at the same time
The performance of the actors overshadowed these mistakes. The film is wonderful, and I may return to you with some observations.
The Way (2021)
mixed feelings
From the start the tension reigns supreme, whether it is the one who is watching the movie or the general atmosphere between the actors, you can sense it.
The film took me to a different world. I don't think any of us want to experience it, a world we see and hear about in the headlines and newspapers. Such stories have been filmed many times in different films and in different languages, in The Way it is so different that you live the event. And even participate in the decision within you. A woman was convicted 13 years ago of murder. Atrocities. What will the day of her execution be and how will she appear on it?!.
What are Bob and Frank's reactions?!
Before We Forget (2021)
"Before We Forget" movie, is the lemon tree real?!
We are used to seeing lemons cut on the dining table, or in the orchards, but a fruitful lemon bush next to a window in a house similar to the Japanese bonsai plants was a different thing and an idea that I liked a lot because it was a symbol. Ibrahim Al-Hasawi,"Ismael" who suffers from memory lost, is in the film the father of "Mohammed" Mishaal Al-Mutairi, a frustrated and indebted man. He is Omar's grandfather, Ghazi Hamad, an ambitious young man, but he is hampered by his father's selfishness and his unfulfilled promises to him. Ismail buried a huge amount of money in his farm, but he forgot where it is, and Muhammad and his son are trying to find it.
Symptoms of the disease The character of "Ismail", who appeared as a man in his sixties and in good health -as it seemed to the viewer's eye- nothing in the film indicating that he had an accident or mentioned his age as a convincing reason for the symptoms of memory loss - as stated in the movie plot -, so I found it difficult to accept the character at first, and then I had doubts, a ambiguity that made me follow the movie to the end and watch it more than once - which is normal for someone who wants to write a review of a movie - maybe this is what the director wanted because you will discover that in the end. But one of the most beautiful scenes is the moment when "Ismail" tries to remember the names of people in an old picture brought to him by his son, "Mohammed". The distortion radio waves sound as a metaphor for Ismail's memory lost. Magnificence. The scene here made me convinced.
Although from the beginning, the picture , high quality of the sound, and a good screenplay script, although it was scarce. The script was written by Ron Thomson and Nawaf Al-Janahi "the director of the film" and the performance of Ibrahim Al-Hasawi and star Mishaal Al-Mutairi played a major role in not feeling bored of watching the film. It is a qualitative leap in the Saudi film industry - in my opinion -. I say though, but I wish the black screen wasn't long at the opening, and the daytime outdoor shooting the light was annoying to the eye. Some scenes, despite their quality, such as the meeting of "Mohammed" with "Hana", the woman in the café. I wished the role had remained like the present - the absent (Omar's mother). Who is Hana? Then, did "Muhammad" life is miserable this much to fall in love with such a character in front of whom "Muhammad" seemed to have no personality? The background of the sounds in some scenes was loud and was sensitive to the sting that it picked up the sound of a fly at 19:30, was it necessary?! Or I don't know and I still don't understand it. Then "Ahmed al-Hassan" who played the role of "Fahd", the blackmailer who did not take into account friendship, what happened to him is not enough.
Other than that, you find yourself in front of a new and qualitative style that simulates the level of Hollywood dramas.
The course of the film is dramatic, but you find laughing in some clips with Ibrahim Al-Hasawi's performance and the expressions on Mishaal Al-Mutairi's face. A question came to my mind, what if the two met in a comic movie, what would it be like? I expect the place will be filled with laughter.
Before I forget (I mean myself) I still have a question that I haven't found an answer to, is the lemon bush real?! I think that to a large extent it is true, but we want confirmation, I may find you an answer.
I say with pleasure that this film brought me back to the serious follow-up to Saudi cinema.
Thank you.
The Last Inn (2021)
here is why i rated this movie 8
I'm not going to talk about the creative director, you have to watch Death is Here 3 to see what I said creative. Even in this film, I see in the eyes of the critic, which - different from the eye of the viewer - that this director discovers actors, Laura (Emily Hall) is making her way into the world of stardom with confident steps, she may stumble and this is normal, but she has a talent that will enable her one day to be in the ranks of stars Hollywood, such as Nicole Kidman and Julia Roberts (hint: I hope you stay away from nude appearances, as the two above-mentioned actresses achieved stardom with valuable scenes and performances, not nudity or intimate scenes). In other words, a deep explorer. Certainly, this movie has a good budget. I can say that from the quality of the shooting, the locations, etc. But frankly, he was missing something that would lead the viewers together and not make the viewer wake up with each scene as if he was seeing another new movie. I gladly give this movie an 8 rating for the following reasons:
The discovery of an actress, Emily Hall, who I expect to have stardom in the future (bet)
And photography and scenes that I benefited a lot from and learned from (and this is the purpose of all of that, that we learn, watch and learn again).
Thanks to all.
Ted Lasso (2020)
the feeling is as you are realy living in London
London is different from many cities, walking in its streets and alleys makes you feel warm, as if you are at home. This is how the Ted Lasso series makes you feel.
The miracle of directing the film is to transform the mental image into a picture that you can see on the screen, along with taste and feel>
I am like this series as if you are wearing a luxurious perfume sold in the most luxurious centers of London.
Of course the legendary Jason Sudeikis, his outstanding performance was a key element in spreading the warm atmosphere.
Some may criticize that this series is not a comedy, in fact it is a comic engineering of the kind that makes you laugh against your will, as you shout Wow when you see a creative geometric model.
Don't Look Up (2021)
consider it a new year gift for your self
In the beginning, we have three actors who are considered icons of American cinematography, and more correctly, Meryl Streep, Jennifer Lawrence, and Leonardo DiCaprio. They make you crave the desire to watch the movie.. So get popcorn, drink, sit back and enjoy watching.
You may hear a kettle whistling sound, which connects you directly to a beautiful mental image most of the time unless you have had a bad experience with hot water, and who among us does not have experience .. But that is the point.
The sounds such as the spread of jam, the movement of the telescope, etc. Make you immerse yourself directly in the film and even feel like you are part of it. In my opinion, the use of this is common, but in this film, its presence gave another dimension, which is accuracy. The film began to explore space and stars with a telescope, if it were not for those subtle sounds that contributed to the deep feeling. All this was a prelude to Professor Mendy's appearance and the discovery of the tragic news. The professor's tone of voice sounded like when they tell you in the hospital that the doctor wants to talk to you, you know something is wrong. In addition to the micro-expression when the photographer reflects it professionally with appropriate lighting that gives greater depth. I might add some comments later.
Arcane: League of Legends (2021)
THIS IS FUN TO WATCH
I watched this anime series, which attracted me at first sight. The quality of the drawing was amazing, making you immerse yourself in the characters. The musical introduction is fun. This is what I can talk about because the dramatic plot is nothing new. In my personal opinion, this does not diminish the beauty and value of the material. I am a fan of this series and I eagerly await the second part.
Rear Window (1954)
THIS PICTURE GOOD RATING IS NOT ENOUGH, IT IS AN ACADEMY
IF YOU WANT TO LEARN HOW A ONE PERSON FILM IS DONE WATCH THIS AND LEARN.
If you want to learn strong dialogue and take powerful shots, this movie is a school
With the development of technology, you can copy the same experience in a modern framework, and you can produce a movie at a very low cost using a mobile phone, but.. do you have the feeling of writer John Michael Hayes, Cornell Woolrich
Or the ingenuity of director Alfred Hitchcock
In addition to the outstanding performance of the roles played by the heroes of the film.
If you were able to shoot a copy of this movie on the ground, I will tell you this movie is a Hollywood grant to the world of cinema.
Curb Your Enthusiasm: What Have I Done? (2021)
The series has become a part of my life.
The series has become a part of my life.
This series is a masterpiece
Each character and each role reflects a phase or situation you have been through in your life.
The series succeeded in getting the audience to engage with all the characters because they somehow portrayed a part of the my life or what i thinks of. In addition to melting social and religious differences.
Larry David and J. B. Smoove "Leon" is an example of the perfect contrast of personality under one roof.
"Sophie" is a wonderful addition like adding Spicy to Sweet and Sour Dish
Larry David and the rest of casting I wish you all a happy life.
The Silence of the Lambs (1991)
never forget this movie
This movie contains fine lines between sanity and madness.
Anthony Hopkins and Jodie Foster are a combination that reminds me of eating cheesecake after T-Bone Steaks at a famous New York restaurant.
The Green Mile (1999)
i hope one day we can see a movie like this one again
This movie inspired me a lot,.even in my social life, I find this movie emulating some of it. Although Tom Hanks had an amazing role as Paul "The Officer", Michael Clarke Duncan as John Coffey his role in the movie has been the catalyst for me every time to watch it.
Reservation Dogs (2021)
I can't wait for the second season
Of course, if the producer decided to make a second season, it would be better or at the same level as the first season.
I am pleased to present an idea for the second season and to share it with the producer and director. I hope that happens , I will be honored to participate.
Reservation Dogs: Hunting (2021)
STAR BORN
A star is born, the accent, the performance, and the script made me believe and immerse myself in the scene.
Willie and her father in this episode. You can't get enough of watching them.
