Odd...but interesting
8 December 2021
I saw this trailer pop up years ago on YouTube and always wanted to watch this movie. I just found it on Netflix, so i clicked. The cast, I know from others works are incredible. So, I was really looking forward to the movie. The storyline was interesting. It's not a typical romance movie, especially cause there is no "happy ending". But, it is interesting in regards to being relatedable to "real life". I didn't enjoy the pacing of the scenes. There was no timeline to figure out what and when everything was happening. The characters had to state the years that had pass or you just had to figure it out. Also, the language was quite rough. So, you make not want to watch this movie with family as it may get uncomfortable.

Hmmm... Intrigued
14 May 2020
Warning: Spoilers
The first season I was pretty annoyed and didn't care for this remade at all. I understand that changes were made to adapt to today. For example, the feminism view and the diversity. Also, I like that pieces of Prue, Piper, Phoebe and Paige are in the new girls. I can't help comparing them. Lastly, I always felt like they were rushing all the storylines. But now I understand that they may be worry they will be cancel before they can finish a storyline. Overall, I know I was pretty biased against it but tried to push it aside. For season 2, I started to like it. I been bingeing it on Netflix. I like the change of scenery that was made. Thank God, they aren't acting like some teenagers anymore. Also, I love the "Piper and leo" pair again. Piper and Leo are my favorite. I find this remake new pair intriguing. I can't wait to see what happens.

Dirty Dancing (2017 TV Movie)

This is awkward
6 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Before watching this movie I tried to completely unbiased, but it is hard since the original dirty dancing is such a classic. It was nice that I could recognize the actors and actresses, from Baby, her parents and sister and, even Penny. And, I liked the different changes that were made. Like, how her sister wasn't so ditsky and her parents overcome their marriage problems. Made it more realistic and with the time era. But, the musical was odd. It didn't feel natural, which a musical is supposed to make it seem like it okay to be breaking into song. Also, the the dance scenes weren't the same. I understand that this was a ABC family, but those outfits and the dancing made the original ionic. But, what made me cringe so bad that I could not finish the movie was Baby's dancing at the end. I noticed it all throughout but it was the worst. Her dancing is terrible. It was so awkward. And I know the producers knew cause they made the main guy dance around her basically to cover it up. This ruin the movie for me.

Spoiler!!!
4 September 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I think I remember seeing the trailer for this movie when it first came out, but just never got the chance to watch it. Found it on Netflix at 1am and thought "why not". The movie I thought was pretty decent. I never been on a cruise ship before and know no idea about boats so I feel like i am pretty clueless and that's probably why I think the movie is decent. The only thing that makes me mad is Elena's death and the fact it was never brought up that Valentin was the reason she was there. I felt Elena should have been one of the survivors because they sacrificed Valentin. Also, I just realized the cast wasn't very diverse. Only had Valentin, Elena and the Captain. Poor Elena! Wrong place at the wrong time.

Surprised
25 August 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I was searching for the typical romantic drama and chose this on Netflix. But I was surprised, it wasnt the typical romance as you would think. From the summary, you would already be thinking how is this a romance, which is why the whole time I was watching I was thinking how is she going fall in love with the guy that killed her brother. From the intro in each episode, you would think they did fall in love. But it was a twist, because those scenes were all in the villian's mind. I enjoyed this drama not for the romance but for the other aspects shown, like justice and family. Also, the crazy obsession the villian had made the drama interesting to watch. Another thing I noticed is that even though, it was labeled as a romance. It didn't have overdone romance scene like we see in media today. The drama was very PG and good for a family to watch.

Well of course, I'm here because of Starbuck
17 August 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Compared to all of the other reviews, I actually enjoy the series. I do believe that it is true that "Starbuck" carries the whole show. I really like that actress and I like the strong female character she plays. I like characters that are dysfunctional but still bad ***. The rest of the kids on the ship were pretty silly and I did fast forward some parts. But I was happy to watch how Niko was going save the day this time. Also, I enjoyed the whole Niko and William's relationship as well as her relationship with her family back home.

Honestly...
10 July 2019
Honestly, I was pretty confused about what was going on the whole time. I had recognize the main female lead and the 2nd love interest from other shows, so I was interested when I found this on Netflix. This two actors actually are what drove me to keep going. Their chemistry was pretty good, even though I just couldn't understand how the heck they would actually fall for each other. Besides that, I also thought the ending of the last episode was pretty good. It was a good twist that I didn't expect.

No way she's..

Warning: Spoilers
When the trailer or finally came out, I was pretty intrigued to see this movie. So, when I realized it was Netflix, I didn't care it was already 12am and I had work tomorrow, which is now definitely today. I rushed to press play. The movie was a great fanasty movie with a strong female character. It reminded me on Narnia/Peter Pan/moonacre. Of course, I was also excited to see Kiera Knightley and Mackenzie Foy, who's all grown up now. Only thing is I love when I'm surprised by the twist in the movie. But, I knew immediately that there was no way Kiera was playing some "bimbo" character. One thing, I realized though, is that I haven't seen the Kiera and the actor that play our famous "Mr.Darcy" in a movie together since Pride and Prejudice. Oh, I would have love if they had somewhat of a scene today.

Dreamy Esteban
14 May 2019
Pretty good series. I was able to binge it in a whole night. Series is great for teenager/young adult audience. The main actress was good. The character came out clueless sometimes but she is playing a young teenager. The actor who plays Esteban is so dreamy. He is my new tv character crush. I actually can't wait to watch some of his other work. If another season came up, I would love it just because of him.

Analeigh Tipton
7 January 2019
As soon as I realized that Analeigh Tipton was starring in this movie, I did a quick 360 and hit click on Netflix. I remember her from America's Top Model and really liked her. Sadly, I ended up being pretty disappointed this movie. The whole movie I was pretty confused about what was going on. Analeigh looked great and even, the ex was very handsome. But, the weird dark "50 shades are grey" storyline wasn't that great to me. I have to admit though, the twist at the end was a pretty good. I wasn't expecting it and it's the only good thing from the movie.

Interesting watch
27 December 2018
Pretty interesting drama. I found it on Netflix and decided to watch because it only had 38 episodes and it had a dysfunctional love story, which are always pretty good to watch. Overall, this drama was pretty good. It kept me watching, even though sometimes it was like a soap opera. Soap opera, meaning it wouldn't get to the point and would just waste time of facial expressions. The hero and heroine was pretty good looking and make a good pair. The main villian was a pretty good actor. Everytime he popped up on screen I was pretty be impressed because of his acting skills and because I couldn't really hate him. That may be because of his dysfunctional upbringing. I also enjoyed the secondary characters. They had good storylines and I was invested in seeing what happened to them.

An odd match
26 October 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Just completed watching the whole series in a few days. Normally I dont watch these type of dramas, but for some reason, it hooked me the moment I clicked on it in Netflix. This drama is about an odd match. A young man chases a older woman. This relationship isn't too much out of the norm in some cultures. But, to make it worst, it turns out he is the little brother of her long time best friend. Now, this fact also isn't too bad as it is common in high school relationships. But, in this culture, it isn't acceptable, especially with their age gap. This untraditional couple end up having to go through of series of obstacles. Overall, this series made me "aww" at the adorable moments and sobbed at their worst fights. This series is a great drama to watch for a romantic, especially if you need a quick binge watch.

Pretty okay movie
12 September 2018
I was pretty hyped up for this movie considering it's part if the conjuring series and because tassia farmiga from american horror story was starring in it. I expected to be extremely scary. But, it wasn't really. It felt more like a thriller movie to me. There were some pretty scary parts but I was able to see them coming since I have seen so many horror movies. Overall, the movie was okay and I didn't mind watching it. One thing that I enjoyed most was the actor that played "frenchie". His character gave the movie some humor, which was unexpected but enjoyable. Also, that actor was pretty handsome. I am pretty interested in seeing his other movies.

I figured it out in the first few minutes
24 August 2018
Warning: Spoilers
The story starts with the young, pretty girl waking up outside and running to her room because it's midnight, like cinderella, just joking. From just that it seem like a normal life experience of "don't wanna get catch sneaking out by mom and dad" for rebellious teenagers. It get weird though, when we can assume, her brother pops out of his room and says "they're coming". From that introduction, it seems like an interesting thriller. It's a becoming of age for a young girl that is struggling with the responsibility of maintaining her past family life as well as following the rules of the "her parents". On the rating of a thriller movie, It does have it's moments of creepiness..but overall for me, it was pretty easy to figure out. It does have a few "pop outs" but none made me "jump". Beside that, I did like the main actress. I think she did very good acting and I would like to watch more with her.

Quirky but too much of a teen flick for me
13 August 2018
I was pretty excited for this movie when I heard it was coming out soon and watched the trailer. But it seems all the funny and good parts were put in the trailer. So, the movie wasn't "all that" for me. Had a lot of great actors and actresses like Jessica alba and Samuel Jackson.

What did I just watch..
6 February 2017
Only reason I decided to watch this, was because it looked like it was getting a lot of hype about it and it appeared in Netflix. Also, probably because this movie has SRK(king of Bollywood) and Deepika (super pretty). This movie is basically a stupid comedy. You know, those types of movies, where everything is just so stupid, you can not help but laugh. It did attempted to be a drama and a romance but, with the sudden switches between these themes, it was difficult to take it seriously. Most of the romance were silly clichés, as well. The silly theme of love at first stuff. Also, it keep showing the main guys' shirtless all the time.I know its probably to get female views because of them have six packs, but it was too much. And not in the way "omg its too much, i can not control myself". More like "are you kidding me, how does this make sense). Two good things about the film is Deepika's outfits (I want them) and the ending dance. That's why my rating is a 5.

Dilwale (2015)

not what i expected..
2 February 2017
When I heard Kajol and SRK were making a movie together, I was super excited and had Dilwale at the top of my watch list. I was so happy that it showed up in Netflix and didn't waste any time to waiting to watch it. But, after finishing this 2 hr and 33 min movie, I don't think it was all that. I didn't care for the songs and the movie felt like it was on a cheap budget because of all the green screens they used. I will always love Kajol and SRK, but I felt their characters weren't that good. Their whole story was the cliché "old time love at first sight" situation that gets screwed up because of a misunderstanding. The few action scenes were a little cool but the action part is just last because the the "whole love story mess" and "family first" theme comes first. Also, those new actors, I found their characters to be pretty stupid (probably cause they were supposed to be the comedy part of the movie). Anyway, I rated the movie a four because there are some good parts but overall, the movie's just a cheesy romance.

what happened?? i'm confused
3 December 2016
Warning: Spoilers
I found this romance/drama on Netflix and I got stuck on it right away. The main couple is so adorable. I even got my mom on it. But on Netflix, it has a total of 72 episodes, that is a lot to binge through. So, considering the drama is basically a soap opera, i started to skip ahead. I know terrible idea, but with all the fast forwards happening, I just had to know where the main couple ended. Anyway, I just finished the show on Netflix, all 72 episodes and I am so confused. Is this show over? Or still going? Where did the daughter come from? What happened to the pregnant sister? Or the health inspector with the little girl? or the evil ex? did that second couple at least get married? Originally, I wanted to rate this 7 but all this questions are going to mess with my head for a while. So, although I still love this couple, I 'm rating it 5stars. It's a great romance.

Mimic 2 (2001 Video)

So there's a lot of negative reviews, but I like it
21 January 2016
First off, i didn't see the first movie of the Mimic series. So, originally, I thought the movie was pretty good. But, after reading all the reviews on IMDb, I'm starting to think I probably missed out on a lot of the important parts. I do plan on watching the first movie soon. However, I guess it's like reading a book and then, watching the movie or vice verse. Meaning Whichever came first, was probably the best version (for the person). Anyway, I enjoyed this thriller. I enjoyed the suspense of trying the connect the clues like in a detective show. I wish it was longer though because the twist at the end felt rushed. Also, there is one question that be annoy me forever. Why her??

Im so confused
13 January 2016
Warning: Spoilers
So..i found this movie on Netflix and thought why not.I haven't see any Bella Thorne movies beside commercials for Disney before. So it probably wont be terrible? And of course I was really loving it, when I realized the "Closer" was in this movie.

I'm basically in between about this movie because it seems pretty interesting when they are giving you clues to piece together. Also, it was nice seeing emotional side with the mother-daughter relationship and Hazel trying to overcoming her struggle . But, then some questions are never answered. It's really confusing. Why were they attacked? Why kidnapped that "klepto girl? What were with the water flashbacks? What was the point of the crazy guy in the desert? So, basically in the end, I am just wondering what is going on in this movie?

skipped through most of it
29 October 2015
Warning: Spoilers
I found the movie on Netflix and thought "why not?", especially since it has Rosamund Pike (which I kinda know she supposed be a good actress because of 'Gone Girl'). The beginning seemed pretty interesting. But that's probably cause I was trying to figure out what was odd(pens or when she ran into him at the restaurant). After the dramatic scene, the movie turned pretty predictable. I skipped through most of it and still understood and predicted what was going to happen. There are a little details that I still don't understand, like why does she have OCD with the black pens and if her mother was responsible for it. All in all, Rosamund Pike is really pretty (but probably now, Ill only see her as 'crazy'(Wasnt she cray cray in 'Gone Girl' too?) and I never be able to see Shiloh Fernandez the same (like when he was 'red riding hood' heartthrob).

In Need Of Romance
18 April 2015
I really enjoyed this Korean drama. Proof of this is I finished the whole series in one day (Using Netflix, of course), which is pretty cause I stayed up till 4am so I could finish it. So, I really recommend that you watch this one.

Prepare to cry your eyes and fall in love with the characters. Oh and laugh at their silliness. Gotta admit though I wasn't happy with the ending because she didn't end up with the guy I was rooting for. LOL BUT its still worthy to be on your to be watch list if you love Korean dramas. By The Way it might just be me, BUT In need of romance definitely reminds me Sex and the City. LOL

Not what I expected..
26 February 2015
Warning: Spoilers
So..the movie appeared on my Netflix account and I thought why not, the summary seemed like a normal story line for a horror. "A troubled young woman is convicted of petty crimes and placed under house arrest in the home of her strange family and a bunch of evil spirits" I really didn't expect to be hilarious and freaking me out at the same time. Originally, I thought it was taking too long but then, i got really into it and was actually sad it ended. Kylie is so sarcastic, her mother is a little irritating, her husband was basically avoiding the battle zone between these two women. Oh, then you got Amos, the probation officer, paranormal believer and moral dude that knows when you deserve a "bitch slap". Add in the spooky ghost and the creepy, crazy looking sweet "man in the walls". All of these factors make this movie hilarious, sweet and scary as hell.\ If you like "CABIN IN THE WOODS", I know you will love this movie!

in complete awe
19 December 2014
Warning: Spoilers
I absolutely love this movie. Its one of those drawn out and action over words movie (or in other words, "analyzing" movie) , so you have to paid attention. I'm glad i found it Netflix. The movie was intense. It made me question how people we label as "bad" think of us. Also, the "staring match" that was going on between the two main characters was indescribable. I want to said that it was wrong what was going on with them, considering she was suppose to be 14. BUT, i had hope there was a happy ending. However, I still love the ending, way more realistic and tragic. After watching the movie, I was "hooked" for days. All I thought about was LORE. I searched for anything I could find out about LORE. I didn't want it to be over. Especially, with the unanswered questions (who is Thomas?). BUT i gotta confessed those questions made me love it more. I'm so upset that I can't find the alternate ending. Supposedly, it's not available in some countries.

not that great
19 December 2014
Warning: Spoilers
Starting the movie, I was already kinda bored and was just looking for something interesting on Netflix. I paid attention in the beginning since there was "ICEMAN" from X Men and that chick from Blood and Chocolate BUT it lost me eventually and I ended up just fast forwarding through the whole thing. But i gotta compliment the twist ending. I was surprise by it ,so i went back to rewatch it and try understand how the pieces fit together. BUT i still don't understand what their mother had to do with it. Was that even explained?? In conclusion, the movie wasn't that great. I rated it a 5 because i didn't want to be mean but it should probably be lower.
