Need for Speed: Carbon (2006 Video Game)
9/10
The continuation to Most Wanted.
30 July 2007
Warning: Spoilers
The main player has left Rockport, and is heading to Palmont, once again in his BMW M3 GTR. Sgt. Cross, however, is not far behind you. Sgt. Cross is now a bounty hunter. He chases you down a valley, and totals your ride. Darius rolls onto the scene, and busts you out of Cross's clutches. To repay Darius, you must, again, get a new ride. This time, instead of going through a Blacklist, you must take over regions. Complete races, and get the attention of the gang leaders that own the territories. Beat them all. The graphics are improved in Carbon, and there are new rides, and you can customize them better. There's also "crew." This time, you don't do races alone, you'll have a wingman. And, as always, there'll be cop chases. The game crashes a lot on the PC version, but it's still an awesome game.

Shoot first, ask questions later.
30 July 2007
Warning: Spoilers
This game is brilliant. You play as a marine, Thomas Conlin. First, you're a green recruit, but at the end, you're a battle hardened veteran. The graphics are realistic. In Boot Camp, you make a few friends, who will be fighting alongside you in the battles ahead. After Boot Camp, you are shipped to Pearl Harbor, where you face and fight the Japanese attack. After Pearl Harbor, you fight on 3 more islands: Makin Atoll, Guadle Canal, and Tarawa Attol. Sometimes in combat, you can make the decision for the squad: Move up, fall back, assemble, or suppressing fire. There are many guns you can use, both American and Japanese. The Japanese soldiers sometimes make lethal Bonzai charges. Once you've run out of health, you don't automatically die, if your medic (Jimmy Sulivan) is nearby, and has medical supplies, he'll save you. But, if you're unfortunate, you'll naturally die, or a Japanese soldier will finish you off. Take back the Pacific one island at a time!

The weirdest TV show I've ever seen.
27 July 2007
Warning: Spoilers
This show is very disturbing. I hate it. It's about a family called the Cranes, and there's also this woman who's a witch, but a good witch, who also has a little girl. The witch's house has these evil spirits in her basement. This isn't the disturbing part. The disturbing part is there's this freak, Vincint, who's a long lost son of the Cranes. He's queer, crazy, and a murderer. If that isn't enough to scare you, he wears this hideous costume, that makes him look half man, half woman. Sometimes he wears it, sometimes he doesn't. He looks normal without it, but when he's wearing it, half of his face is flesh, the other half is a Phantom of the Operah mask. Each half of his shirt is a different color, and his pants, one side is.. well, pants, but the other side is half a skirt. In addition, his hair is long and girlie.I was very disturbed by this show.

Get ready to bash some cop cars up!
27 July 2007
Warning: Spoilers
The game is in a city called Rockport. At the start of the game, the main player is on his way to Rockport in his BMW M3 GTR. He meets some other street racers on the Blacklist. He's challenged by Razor, #15 on the Blacklist. When the main player races Razor, the car you're driving quits, because Razor sabotaged it. You're left with no ride, and now the RPD has you in custody. However, Mia, the girl you met while en route to Rockport, bails you out of jail. You receive bad news: Razor is now #1 on the Blacklist, and he used your ride to get there. You must now get a new ride, and defeat each Blacklist racer one at a time. There are 15 total. Before you can challenge a racer, you must meet the criteria. Win races, complete milestones, and rack up your bounty to go through the Blacklist, to Razor, and get your ride back, and become the Most Wanted.

Sequel to the original KOTOR.
26 July 2007
Warning: Spoilers
KOTOR 2 takes place five years after the original KOTOR. This time, you play as an exiled Jedi Knight, a veteran of the Mandalorian Wars, who followed Revan to battle against the Jedi Council's wishes. The Sith have hunted the Jedi Order on the verge of extinction, you are the only known Jedi left, and the Sith are focusing all of their attention on you. In addition to that, the Republic is on the verge of collapse, still recovering from the Jedi Civil War. Whether Revan saved or crushed the Republic affects the storyline. KOTOR 2 has eight planets, two of which are from the original KOTOR. Instead of fighting a bunch of Sith soldiers, you fight Sith assassins, and of course, there are a couple of Sith Lords leading the crusade against the Jedi Order: Darth Nihlus, and Darth Sion. This time, your alignment affects your companions. In KOTOR 2, there is an influence system. For example, if you have a Light Side party member with you, and you make a Dark Side decision, you'll lose influence (and vice versa) The more influence you have, the more secrets you can unlock from the party member. You can build a party up to 10 characters. There are some familiar characters that'll join you. Also, you can break down items into components, and with those make new items. You can also break down medical supplies (or grenades) into chemicals, and use a lab station to make new items. As in the last game, you use the Ebon Hawk. You must construct a new light saber, and reconnect to the Force if you are to survive!

The best Star Wars video game yet!
26 July 2007
Warning: Spoilers
KOTOR is an awesome Star Wars RPG where you can make your own decisions. The fate of the galaxy is in your hands! KOTOR has seven unique planets, and many kinds of aliens. You can build a party of approximately eight characters, all of whom possess their own skills, personalities, and alignments. KOTOR takes place 5,000 years before the Galactic Civil War. Darth Malak, former apprentice to Darth Revan, has unleashed a nearly invincible Sith armada upon an unsuspecting galaxy. You play as a member of the Republic fleet. Train to be a Jedi and construct your own light saber, and learn the ways of the Force. What path will you choose?

best soldier game ever
18 June 2007
Warning: Spoilers
This game is absolutely brilliant. There are multiple ways to do a mission. You can do it on foot, or you can go that enemy base near by and use their own hardware against them. Also the action menu is awesome. From putting your gun on your back, to getting in a vehicle, to lighting a campfire. Flashpoint has 4 islands (5 once you've got Resistance) that are very big. You can walk anywhere on them. You can command a squad up to 12, and you can order them to do anything you want. Flashpoint also has a mission editor, so you can make anything if you put your mind to it. You can also customize your main character (name, face, radio voice, voice pitch, etc) It's very realistic, it's not a game where you have a health bar, you (and the other AI) can get killed instantly with just one bullet. Something else neat is that you can mark things on your map (such as marking the location of a car) There's also a 35 mission long campaign, and single missions. There's 2 more campaigns once you get the expansion packs, with multiple endings. The game is made by the Czechs. They really do make the best stuff. Might I add, Flashpoint came out in 2001, so that's living proof that excellent technology existed in that year. Operation Flashpoint is the benchmark of all soldier games.
