Modern Problems (1981)
Loved it...
I personally loved this movie. It is silly funny, one of those movies where you do not have to think and you can laugh. After a long day at work Modern Problems is a good way to laugh your cares away.
Black Sheep (1996)
Great Humor and Fun!!
Very well done. I enjoyed this movie a lot. Some parts could have been done better but overall I enjoyed it and enjoy watching it anytime I can. Must see for all of those that can just lay back and have fun.
The Princess Diaries (2001)
Wonderful movie for newer age!
This movie has it all, gawky girl, Queen grandmother, and teenie
bopper romance. Anne Hathaway was shining in this movie. Her
clumsiness did not look faked, and the transformation she goes
through is great. She looks totally different at first but you can see
the real Mia shine through even though she looks preppy. Julie
Andrews was wonderful. She was elegant, graceful, and
everything you would think a queen should be. She was just
radiant. A great good time movie and heart warming.
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)
EyeOpening!!!
Seeing this movie opening day could not have been better. The theater was packed and at one point the entire audience was clapping due to a scene that kept us on the edge of our seat. The casting was amazing, the scenes, backgrounds, and effects were awesome...I could not have been more impressed. A MUST SEE!!! AND A MUST OWN!!!
Monsters, Inc. (2001)
Incredible
Just the sheer intensity and work they put into this movie. Not only was the animation amazing but the plot was well thought out too. I am going back again to see it with my neice and nephew. GO SEE IT!!!
Wishmaster 3: Beyond the Gates of Hell (2001)
Good and Bad...
Ok I can understand that the movie being different than the first 2 is a little disappointing but I also would like to point out a few things, First....who said it was the same Djin as in the first 2?? Is there not more than one Djin in the history? I came to this conclusion when this gem came out of a box that dated back to the persian empire...If they couldn't get Andrew Divoff to play the Djin again than this is a good way of getting around that... Ok now for the bashing...very campy 80's style movie...shows a lot of tits which the first 2 did nothing of. Bad acting from all concerned in the movie, and there was no emotional tie that connected me to the characters. Only problem I have with the different Djins is this....when researching the legends how can each person only come up with the legend of the Djin they are fighting. I just watched the lecture he gave on the Djins and the Trojan war and am pleased with how he mentioned more than one which proves my point of him not being the Djin from the orginals. So in conclusion...bad acting...not too bad story.
