Billy & Billie (2015– )

A show that keeps it real keeps every moment entertaining and thoughtful
1 December 2015
Really, this is a show that keeps it real, yet somehow still keeps every moment entertaining and thoughtful. It's also hilarious without ever going over the top until the season finale. The fact that it's only 10 episodes long so far is a travesty, but the great news is that they're all quality episodes. The show doesn't feel like anyone is acting for the most part, and the subtleties are subtle and aren't ever thrown in your face. I hope we see more episodes, but I'm not sure what Direct TV was looking for when they made this show. Either way they made something worth watching that isn't nearly as trite as most of the shows on television these days. That is a win, and this show should be continued.

Transporter 3 (2008)
7/10
Not as good as the first, better than the second.

I just went to the Premiere at Planet Hollywood last night, and if you enjoyed the ridiculous action seen in the first two, you will definitely enjoy Transporter 3. Jason Statham returns and kicks everyone's ass regardless of the situation, and the vehicular action in this one is better than ever. His new "girl along for the ride", played by Natalya Rudakova, serves as a humorously contrasting (and hot) addition to Frank's troubles, and she managed to deliver a half decent performance. Transporter 3 is over-the-top and cheesy at times, but if you don't mind those things in an action movie, then there is much entertainment to be found here.

Wanted (2008)

Trys really hard to succeed, but does it?

Warning: Spoilers
I just got back from the midnight showing... Wanted managed to be bad*** and clever at times, but the story blew balls, and there were some major gaps in logic throughout the whole thing. I never thought I'd say "binary on a loom" before, but that basically sums up the story -- it's dumb, but I guarantee there will be a bunch of people that'll eat it up. Basically, it's definitely worth seeing because the action is the next step up in the evolution of Matrix-like action, but if you start thinking the story might be getting good, you can terminate that thought immediately. Also, by the end of the movie the main character is still quite a tool.

Journeyman (2007)
10/10
The details elevate this show to greatness, and beyond.
6 November 2007
Journeyman is a prime example of a creative show that builds upon ideas and concepts that were established by shows before it. It is a show that feels polished, and holds a unique style to it. The concept of time travel is realistically portrayed, while the the periods in time are very accurately depicted (including many subtleties which add to the nostalgia). Everything just fits; the acting is superb, and the music is spot on. Every week this show manages to captivate me, and I really hope it sticks around. Overall, Journeyman is a fresh, modern take on the time travel genre as a whole. Anyone who is still reading this review should really go watch this show instead.
