The Passion of the Christ (2004)
Intense and compelling
One of my favorite movies about Jesus. Jim Caviezal did an incredible job as our Lord, Jesus. This movie is painful to watch.... As it should be. The torture and hanging of Jesus should break our hearts. It is OUR sin that made Him suffer and be killed. Every time I watch this movie (every Good Friday) it reminds me of what Jesus had to go through, what price He had to pay, in order for me to be forgiven and have the grace to get into Heaven. Seeing how much pain He was in and what horrors He had to endure makes me appreciate all the more what Jesus went through for me.
La Brea (2021)
Great idea for a show
I love the idea of this show. But the acting is terrible... really terrible. I keep watching because I want to see what happens, but the acting makes it a bit difficult.
The Chosen (2017)
Best Show I have ever seen
I have watched every episode of The Chosen several times. It is the best show I have ever seen in my life. I love how it explores the characters in the Bible and Jesus. It shows their struggles in their victories. Jesus is so real and so relatable in the series. The way they portray Jesus touches my heart so deeply and makes me want to deep in my relationship with him. The acting in the writing in the series is amazing. I cannot wait to see more episodes.
Monsters at Work (2021)
Pretty good
I was really happy to see some of the same people doing the voices. Love John Goodman and Billy Crystal. Good childrens show with some things adults can appreciate also.
Alien TV (2019)
great show for all ages
This is just a fun, silly show of aliens misunderstanding everything we do on earth. I have been watching it for hours now and just keep laughing. It is exactly what I needed to help this summer be lighthearted and fun.
The Wizard (1986)
Where can I watch this?
I loved this show and have been looking for it for 30 years. Does anyone know where I can watch it? Youtube doesnt have it.
San Andreas (2015)
Words fail me
Terribly bad acting.
Completely predictable and mind numbing.
One star because it was sorta cool watching all the buildings fall.
The Christmas Chronicles: Part Two (2020)
Okay, but not as good as the original.
The first one felt like a family film, this one was scary. It is not for children. Evil elves and a mean character trying to destroy Christmas, and violence. Not my cup of tea.
A Million Little Pieces (2018)
Not worth the $3.99 i paid to rent
Usually i like movies like this but this one was incredibly boring. I had to force myself to finish it. Not worth the four bucks i paid to rent it.

A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (2019)
Heart-touching
Such a beautiful movie. That sixty seconds had a huge impact on me. We need more people like Mr. Rogers.
The Lion King (2019)
Amazing!
I am a huge fan of the original and I am really happy they kept so much the same, especially the songs. Nothing will compare to the great acting of the original. But this one was great. And i was thrilled to hear James Earl Jones voice for Mufasa again. This movie is also visually absolutely stunning.
Unicorn Store (2017)
Loved this movie!
This was a wonderful movie to watch on a rainy Saturday morning. It was whimsical and I could very much relate to Brie Larsons character. Just a happy movie! Gave it 9 stars only because I wish it had been longer.
Connections (1978)
Loved these shows
When I was in a gifted and talented 7th/8th grade class, I had an incredible teacher named Mr Barnette (who I miss!) who showed us a lot of these episodes. They were fascinating then and they still fascinate me now. Its amazing how he ties things together with past and present. Much better than reading a history book. James Burke made history come alive.
A Circle of Children (1977)
Amazing movie
One of the best movies about special needs children ever. As a special ed teacher, I particularly love movies like this. The acting is good for a 70s movie. It is one of the movies that I saw as a child that inspired me to teach special needs children. It is based on the book, a Circle of Children. Mary McCracken begins as a volunteer in a harsh teachers special ed classroom. At first all she seems to do is cause problems with the children. However over time she becomes very attached to the children and begins to make a real Difference in their lives. One of the best parts is when she discovers the way a young boy (Albert from Little House on the Prairie ) is trying to communicate.
