Garten of Banban 6 (2023)
The first or something I don't know I'm tired of Garten of BanBalls
Honestly my last review with the fnaf copypasta was a review that existed. I'm tired of this series, I don't hate it, I have nothing against the devs. They're making an innocent game, but because of all the friggin' hate towards mascot horror (which is EASILY justifiable, I'm sick of it. It's the MCU of gaming) it always causes over the top controversy. I hate how the brothers of this game are being treated. People are sending them death threats, hate messages, and it's not ok. If you hate the Garten of Banban series then I honestly don't blame you, it's nothing interesting. It's more comedic than it is scary.
As for the 6th chapter, I'm not sure how I feel about it? It's not amazing, but it exists. I do love all the youtuber's reactions to the game, but honestly I think it's time we move on. If you bate the series than stop giving it so much attention. Let the brothers make their stupid game.
God bless.
Was that better than my last review with the copypasta?
Garten of Banban 4 (2023)
The first part 4; I'm first now
Connection terminated. I'm sorry to interrupt you, Elizabeth. If you still even remember that name. But I'm afraid you've been misinformed. You are not here to receive a gift. Nor, have you been called here by the individual you assume. Although, you have indeed been called. You have all been called here. Into a labyrinth of sounds and smells, misdirection and misfortune. A labyrinth with no exit. A maze with no prize. You don't even realize that you are trapped. Your lust of blood has driven you in endless circles. Chasing the cries of children in some unseen chamber, always seeming so near. Yet somehow out of reach. But, you will never find them. None of you will. This is where your story ends. And to you, my brave volunteer, who somehow found this job listing not intended for you. Although, there was a way out planned for you, I have a feeling that's not what you want. I have a feeling that you are right where you want to be. I am remaining as well. I am nearby. This place will not be remembered and the memory of everything that started this, can finally begin to fade away. As the agony of every tragedy should. And to you monsters trapped in the corridors. Be still. And give up your spirits. They don't belong to you. As for most of you, I believe there is peace and perhaps, warm, waiting for you after the smoke clears. Although, for one of you, the darkest pit of Hell has opened to swallow you whole. So, don't keep the Devil waiting, friend. My daughter, if you can hear me, I knew you would return as well. It's in your nature to protect the innocent. I'm sorry that on that day, the day you were shut out and left to die, no one was there to lift you up in their arms, the way you lifted others into yours. And then, what became of you, I should have known, you wouldn't be content to disappear. Not my daughter. I couldn't save you then. So, let me save you now. It's time to rest, for you, and for those you have carried in your arms... This ends. For all of us. End communication.
Oh yeah, the game was a game that existed.
The Prince of Egypt (1998)
Near dang perfect!!
It's rare when people of all faiths come together and collectively agree that a piece of media is what they consider it to be. You have those who hate religion to the very core of their being, and those to stand by it at all costs. I'll personally on the latter. I love this movie, the animation is gorgeous, the music is a blessing to my ears, the voice acting is nothing to sneeze at, and it's and almost accurate tale to what happened in the book of Exodus!
That being said, this movie has one fatal flaw: and it's the inaccuracy that it has with two moments in the Bible that they failed to be put into this movie.
This first one is Moses "accidentally" killing the guard, in the Bible Moses kills the guard in cold blood like he intended, but in this movie they just treat it like an accident.
The second one is Arron, who in this movie was unkind to Moses and kind of a jerk, but in the actual Bible Arron was on team Moses, but this movie doesn't show that.
If they just didn't create these two inaccuracies then this movie would have been PERFECT, I know that's a hot take but I feel like it's important to remember that when adapting something like the Bible you need to always be sensitive and true to the source material, even if you don't believe it.
Of course, I'll leave this on a good note: This movie is certainly better than a lot of other pieces of Christian content that exist (not including The Chosen)
Sonic the Hedgehog (2020)
Lack of faith to to source material
Soooo... Sonic having a redesign automatically makes this movie a 10/10? I'm shocked that people like this movie mainly because of that. This movie lacks so much of Sonic it's crazy. You could have replaced Sonic and Robotnik with a random cartoony character and a crazy mad scientist and I wouldn't tell the difference. If Sonic didn't get the redesign than everyone would have hated the movie for than just the ugly design, but because it's hardly a Sonic movie.
The plot is Sonic goes to earth because a new character named Longclaw (Yes, they made up their own character just for this origin story, not even bothering to use a character from the ACTUAL FRANCHISE, remember when I said this movie isn't faithful to the source material?), sent him there for his safety thanks to the PORTAL RINGS?? The rings in Sonic are to keep him alive! When Sonic gets hurt he drops rings and then recollects them for his journey, NOT for transportation. I don't care if they are a reference to the Sonic Archie comics, this is just lazy writing.
Anyways, Sonic accidentally drops his rings through a portal to San Fransisco, yes I'm still talking about the official Sonic movie and not a Sonic fanfiction. Instead of Sonic running there, like how a Sonic movie should be told, Sonic goes on a FLIPPING ROAD TRIP with Tom, the guy Sonic's been stalking all the years he's been at earth, while on the run from Jim Carry- sorry, Doctor Robotnik.
Where's Tails? "At the end credits of the movie."
Where's Knuckles? "Who?"
Where're the chaos emeralds?? The real thing Robotnik's after?! "Never heard of them, what's a chaos emerald?"
Where's Mobius?? Sonic's real home? "Oh that's at the start of the movie, but we're putting Sonic on earth because this is a movie us, not the Sonic fans"
Unbelievable.
This movie has the most shameless product placements ever as well. They outright throw the Olive Garden and the slogan out of nowhere. It's shameless, thoughtless, and painful to watch. We watch movies to be entertained, not to be advertised to.
These Sonic movies are uncannily similar to the Micheal Bay Transformers movies. Barely any time on the important characters, no heart, focuses on the humans and their romance way to much, lack of faith to their source material... at least here I knew who this movie was for: The writers, nobody else.
It's not for Sonic fans because you don't have that much Sonic-related material in the movie. It's not for critics because you made a movie adaptation to a popular franchise. Sure you could argue it's for kids, Sonic flosses, farts, and has an annoying voice that doesn't sound like Sonic... so it's for kids right?
Maybe... but there swearing in this movie isn't exactly a way to defend that argument.
Don't even get me started on the pathetic references throughout the movies... The writers were like "Yeeeeaaaah... we know this hardly is related to Sonic in any way shape or form... we know you all deserved better... and Sonic flossing was a stupid thing to add to the movie... BUT LOOK!!! SONIC JUST CALLED ROBOTNIK EGGMAN!! JUST LIKE IN THE GAMES!!" And the audience is like "OMG YES THIS IS THE BEST MOVIE EVER!!!"
This movie isn't a love letter to the Sonic fans, it's a spit in the face and a huge F U to them.
If you're hoping the second movie is any better... I have bad news: It's not any better. Just as terrible.
The Mandalorian: Chapter 20: The Foundling (2023)
HUGE improvement from episode 3!!
Episode 3 of this season was bad, boring, and slow. This episode shows a huge amount of redemption and makes me excited for what's next to come. Here's everything about this episode that I liked, and why it's the best episode of the season so far.
1. I love how we're shown all the Mandalorian throughout the episode. Each and every one of them with unique color schemes for their outfits. They should really make LEGO versions of them all. They keep all the moments at the Mandalorian camp interesting with a variety of colors that both blend in and stick out or the environment.
2. This time we have an actual episode on the Mandalorian, which is what the 3rd episode lacked heavily in.
3. The story is simple, but in a good way. One of the Mandalorian foundlings is kidnapped and so Din Djarin, Bo-Katan, Paz Vizla, and more Mandalorian all work together to save the foundling. I love how the Mandalorian are aware of each others humanity, and are willing to save their comrade's. When they return with the foundlings (along with several more), they all celebrate.
This episode gives me hope for the rest of the season. I'm excited for what it has to offer, just please focus on the actual Mandalorian and not some boring side character!!!
The Mandalorian: Chapter 19: The Convert (2023)
Honestly boring
The show is promising so far is pretty great, but this episode is just boring. Nothing interesting happens, Din Djarin barely shows up. If you wanted to tell us about the life of Dr Pershing than you could have just made a show telling us about that instead. I came to watch The Mandalorian to see the MANDALORIAN. Not some ex-imperial officer. If you have to make an entire episode on a side character that didn't do anything to make the story interesting to begin with than you're better off not doing it at all. It's bad storytelling. The only interesting thing Pershing did before-hand was tell us about the Dark Troopers, but they didn't exactly live up to the hype now didn't they? Just a waste of an episode. This is like making a show on a character like Boba Fett but making it about the Mandalorian... oh wait...
Subnautica: Below Zero (2019)
This game is an underrated masterpiece
If you like the first Subnautica, chances are you'll like this one too. This one does make you do more traveling on land than the first, so it does feel less like an underwater game, but it was more generous and defiantly more easy to play than the first game.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021)
This movie deserves better reviews.
I'm seeing a lot of hate on the movie, and it's very much undeserved. A lot of people have been saying this movie was forgettable yet it sounds like they're just hating on a movie specifically to hate on a movie.
One review that bothers me is "this movie is a loud and frantic mess" yeah, are you telling me you didn't like how Carnage was a loud character? Because if so I think you missed Carnage's character, which is intended to be scary. He's the symbiote of a serial killer who finds enjoyment in the killing of others. Are you telling me you wished his roar was at a whispers volume? Wow.
This movie deserves more than what it's getting, they first gave rise to a Marvel villain who's completely underrated and gets no attention. When this movie came out they ENHANCED how scary he is, sorry if you thought he was "too loud" for you, but sounds like you don't know what a jumpscare is. Not only that, but people are saying, "I disliked the first one so I dislike this one too" just keep your mouth shut. If you didn't like the first one, then why bother seeing this one?! Sounds like you just want to hate on movies just to have an opinion.
This movie was so much fun. The characters were great and once again, I'm glad to see Carnage get the attention he deserves. It had the right amount of intensity and deserves better.
