Signed, Sealed, Delivered for Christmas (2014)
Don't flirt with the angel, Shane.
Extremely well written for a TV Christmas movie.
Obviously this movie is part of a well crafted series that keeps us well entertained and waiting for the development of the two romantic stories that were introduced to us 11 episodes ago and now have been promoted to TV movies.
Anyway the two romances are developing at a glacial speed but they both get a little boost in this movie/ episode.
It's very funny to see Oliver getting very jealous as he sees Shane dancing with a handsome stranger, flirting with him shamelessly right under his nose at the postal ball. Shane looks stunning and the stranger seems to have eyes for nobody else but her in the room.
Oliver really wants to punch something but ends up drinking it instead.
Anyway, it turned out that the handsome stranger was equally interested in touching Oliver's heart as well as Shane's.
The part in which Oliver finds out that an angel has been watching over him all those years since he was a kid is very touching. Eventually he is able to pass the same message to Shane, bringing to her some healing for old hurts deep within her heart.
It's all done so subtly, both the love of God and the love that they are already feeling for each other is portrayed so beautifully and becoming harder and harder for them to deny or disguise.
The two dancing scenes are absolutely magnificent.
Eric Mabius and Kristin Booth brought their A game, the chemistry between them is amazing. And let's not forget about Crystal Lowe and Geoff Gustafson also wonderful performances.
Very well done by all involved.

Love it!
I love this movie as well as all the others from the series.
Eric and Kristin are brilliant as always and Poppy Montgomery delivers her part perfectly as the "missing, mysterious" wife who returns home, after two years of absence, only God knows why.
Why would any woman abandon a man such as Oliver O'Toole??? Crazy chick!
One thing that always intrigued me is why does Holly, having never met Shane before, start telling her such intimate details about Oliver? Why would a woman tell a perfect stranger about how her husband kisses?
Was Holly so intuitive that she perceives that this beautiful blonde is already utterly in love with her husband and does she know that her husband is hopelessly already in love with the blonde as well, despite his faithfulness?
I think Holly knows that Oliver is incapable of cheating on her but she is ready to put an end to this marriage. She obviously cares about Oliver, she doesn't want to leave him completely crushed and even more lost than he has already been for the last two years. By telling Shane about Oliver's delicious kissing, she is hoping Shane will be the one who makes the first move, or at least gets extremely curious about it. I sure would.
Anyway, we still have to wait for another 5 movies before we actually "see" them kissing and I think Holly is right: "that man can kiss"!

So so so good!
I don't think I have enjoyed a series like this since Pride & Prejudice in 1995.
I stumbled upon this series by accident on Acorn TV.
I binged watched the whole thing in two weeks, 11 tv episodes and 12 movies! Wow!!! I think I might actually watch the whole thing again.
The cast is amazing.
You can't help but fall in love with each and all of them. What joy is to watch a series that focus solely on the good, pure and lovely. It doesn't mean it sees the world through rose tinted glasses, for the most part anyway, but it certainly doesn't dwell on the horrible aspects of life that nowadays seem to make the bulk of all tv and movies.
The romantic plots are carefully developed and like a good wine, it takes time. It's not rushed into useless sex and wonton violence. There isn't a single car crash or a single bullet fired.
If you don't like heartwarming stories, this's not for you, if you don't like God, this's not for you and if your attention span is no more of that of a 12 year old, this's definitely not for you.
To all creators and actors of this master piece, thank you.
