Fool Me Once (2024)
Fooled me on netflix, will not again
Keegan was a ridiculous choice for main character. Her display of (no) emotions and lack of talent ruined the whole experience. Her reactions are robotic and not at all army like- my whole family serves in the military and none of them walk around charging at people as if they were the hand of law. I understand the need of strong female characters in netflix productions but french manicure and mascara? I liked the story a lot despite the plot holes and will definitely read the book now. The detective definitely deserved more screentime. His story was much more believable than the main character's one.
Tre nøtter til Askepott (2021)
Rubbish
The horses are the only thing that saved this film. Did they even have a script or was the whole thing just improv? I am a massive fan of the orginal film and wanted to give this remake a chance but I was just horrified the moment I pressed play. Nothing made sense, lack of continuity and zero charisma. If you're looking for something to watch with a bunch of friends and want to drink a shot every moment a cringe scene pops up, this is your poison. The sad thing is that I know that this story is loved throughout Europe and they ruined a chance to introduce it to the younger generations. What a waste of time.
