My journey started when I was around 7 or 8 years old. I started to watch the MCU with my father. I loved it and after maybe 2 years I discovered that there was a lot more than just Superhero movies. I started to watch all the big franchises such as 'Star Wars', 'Harry Potter', 'Terminator', 'Alien' etc.
After I watched a lot of franchises, I didn't think that there were anything else. But then my father told me about standalone movies. Then we started to watch a lot of those. Like A LOT. At age 11, I was so obsessed with movies, that I started writing reviews, make long lists and research about different actors and directors.
The I started to look for movies with one specific actor like Leonardo DiCaprio or Al Pacino. But that was a little tough since their filmography was so big. So I discovered Spielberg and Cameron. Those were my idols and I started to watch a lot of their movies. And as I discovered more and more directors I of course watched more and more movies.
My father was a big help, since he suggested a lot of movies, and tought me about directors and actors. Now I'm smarter then my father when it comes to movies.
As I started to discover more and more movies and director and actors, I became obsessed! And I still am. In 2023 I watched over 11 movies in the theatres including 'Oppenheimer', 'Barbie', 'Napoleon' and 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse'. This year (2024), I watched the Oscars for the first time in my life, big experience. I wrote down who I thought who was going to win, most of them were correct.
Recently I discovered foreign movies. So let's see where that leads me.
Reviews
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023)
5/10 unnesecary
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania was not bad bad, But it was bad. This Movie really was boring and Strange. The only Good Thing about this Movie was Kang The Conqueror.
All The Strange Characters in The Quantum Realm was Strange and they didn't matter.
The Actors was Good in The Movie like usually in Marvel Movies, But i Think Marvel has Lost it's touch. Part of it is Disney, part of it is lady writing.
This Movie doesn't matter to The MCU, except for Kang, But Then give him his own Movie!
Ant-Man 1 was Great, 2 was okay and 3 was just absolutely unnesecary.
Marvel truly has Lost it's touch and it's sad to See after All The Good Years.
I give this Movie a 5/10.
The Creator (2023)
7/10
The Movie's Plot, Story and Idea was GREAT. But, But, But... it just wasn't executed well enough.
Like i Said, The Idea was Fantastic with A. I. taking over The World as People Think these Days. But it became very much The deeper you came into The Movie. It's 2h 13m and i felt that The last 40m to Be honest.
Don't get me wrong, John David Washington and Madeleine Yuna Voyles were great, it was written Good, stunning effects, but the Movie itself was just a little bit messy for it to be enough.
I Saw it in Theaters and i became tired when There was still like 40 Minutes left.
It's Good to see that somebody has made a Movie about What 'Can happen' If A. I. takes over and i have been waiting for this for 2-3 Years. It was Good not Great, not bad, it was good.
Stan Lee (2023)
Great Documentary
I have been waiting for this Documentary ever since i Got to know who Stan Lee was. I love Stan the Man and Marvel. Great look Into how he became One of the most Famous Comic Book Creators. I Think he missed a few deatails, but he some of those in 'Marvel: 75 Years From Pulp to Pop!' I'm only 12 so it didn't really have a Big influence on me when he passed, but it has now. This Story made my Respect for Stan Lee become even bigger.
For me Stan Lee is a Legend and this Documentary not only shows it, but makes us even more sad that he has passed.
Stan was a Great man and an Idol for me. I give this Documentary a 9/10.
