Excellent new show!

I love the female lead. She is an amazing actress and brings an entertaining, intellectual and enlightening point of view to the detective genre. I also like the dynamic between she and her son. He's a terrific actor and he plays a realistic character of a young man of that age. A delightful dynamic between the two. I also like that the stories are not predictable. Neither my husband or myself were able to pick out the killer. I like detective Mint too. She brings an emphatic tone to the police. I hope to feel more for the detective inspector.....I sense the writers want us to slowly warm up to him. The show is extremely well written and I am looking forward to more episodes.

Fun fast paced escape! Great acting!

Absolutely love it! Saw this at the theater tonight, sadly we were the only couple in the theater. A fun movie well acted and directed. Hugh Grant is terrific and I liked the female agent and of course Jason Statham is on point with his classic style. I don't understand the tough reviews on it. You have a lot of talent involved here. It's an escape. Don't over think it just get some popcorn and have a good time. I thought the ending was clever and for me unexpected. If you like Guy Ritchie style movies go see this one you won't be disappointed. I hope they continue to produce more films like this one!

Enjoyable stories and good acting

I don't understand some of the terrible reviews. The show is really interesting and the actors quite good. The Russells are superb its wonderful to see such a united couple with a solid loving marriage. George is my favorite character. He is not 100% villain he is dynamic and balanced. I also like Peggy's storyline. So great to see the parallel lifestyle of some African Americans at that time period. Especially displaying their intelligence, hard work and success. And I love Cynthia Nixon in the Ada role. Lastly the amazing sets and costumes are glorious. A great escape for Monday nights! Well done!
