Hostel: Part II (2007)
They shouldn't have made this movie...
The first Hostel was a great film, I loved the storyline. However, Hostel wasn't one of those movies that had a storyline that could be continued into a complete movie. This movie had the same exact storyline as the first, so if you saw the first movie(which you should have if you see this one) you basically know what's going to happen. The only thing different about this one is the gore. Ah, much more gore than the first. But some of the scenes were just plain weird. Especially the sadistic one. I was expecting more from Roth and Tarantino, but then again it would have been hard to make a sequel to Hostel. So, unless if you just wanna see a lot of gore, then DON'T RENT THIS MOVIE.
Saw (2004)
Wonderfully unique story, lacking gore and action though
This movie is probably the most unique horror movie I have ever seen. It very cleverly tricks you to think that there is a killer, but he really isn't exactly killing people. I, though, thought this movie could have been much, much better. There were many boring scenes, it lacked gore and action. When I first heard of Saw, I heard it was a gut-busting gorefest. There is very little gore in this movie, I do not mean that I want a gorefest, I just want some. In my opinion, I think this movie could have been a wonderful movie, the flashbacks got a bit annoying and I was tired of anticipating gory action sequences. Overall, this is a good movie to watch for those of you who don't like too much gore. Everyone's like "How can you say there isn't much gore?A guy cuts off his own leg!" Well, it doesn't show the leg as he is cutting which is just disturbing, not gory. It is sortof disturbing. The end was excellent though, it had drawn me in to want to see the next one, which is very unique. I give this movie a

Saw II (2005)
Much better than the first, perfect amount of gore and very clever
I liked this movie much better than #1 because it actually had much gore and did not have many boring parts. It was very clever as of how things happened. There were a few minor holes in the plot, but very few movies have none. The only thing that saw needs(unfortunately haven't seen the 3rd though) is more scare moments. Yes, there is plenty enough gore, and some moments that make you cringe, but it just still isn't very scary. The ending was also just tremendous! It would be very hard to watch this movie(if you like horror movies) and not crave to see the 3rd, which is not very common.I also like that it tells more about Jigsaw, in the first we barely got to hear anything about him.(another good ending)This movie uniquely gives answers to some questions from the first. This is one of the better horror movies that have been coming out.
7/10
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1990)
Great show
I think this is the best comedy show of all time.PERIOD. Every episode is either really funny or kind of funny and kind of sad, which was barely ever. The acting is phenomenal besides a little bit of acting with Ashley in the early episodes and some of the guests.....It was really easy to just fit this show in with your lifestyle, that's how good it is. It actually talked about funny things not stupid things.I think everyone in the world should see this show. Will Smith is especially hilarious in all of the episodes...as of almost all of them are. If you haven't seen it, you definitely should. So Im not sure what else I could give it but a.....10/10
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (2006)
Great amount of gore and scary, too!
First off, I watched the unrated version of the movie(I'm not sure if it's much different) and there's A lot of gore compared to most of the other horror movies. Lately I have been watching movies like Scream and the Nightmare on Elm Street series(don't get me wrong, I LOVE these movies) and I had been chanting, "More gore!". I finally saw this movie and it's perfect! Just the right amount of gore, could use some more frightening scenes, but the scary scenes that are there are very scary! If they just made movies like Nightmare on Elm Street have this much gore I would like them much more. The plot, as most of the TCM movies are, was OK...It was sortof obvious and was easy to guess. The acting was pretty good, could have been better, but was still good. I have to say that Sheriff Hoyt was the best actor. Overall, this movies was great, could have been better if there was some more frightening sequences, but it was still good. They need to make more of these type of movies instead of the crappy PG-13 movies with absolutely no gore or violence at all. I give this movie a 9/10
Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare (1991)
Actually the best of the sequels!
I liked this much more than all of the other sequels....the others didn't have much action in them, but this one did. Still wasn't close to the original, but my favorite sequel...I don't get why they said this was the final nightmare when there was the "New Nightmare" 3 years later..and I heard there's a prequel coming out!I like that this told more about Freddy's "Real life" and showed why he is who he is. I do have to admit that some of the parts were corny, but I liked it a lot more than the others.I hope the prequel is good, but they can't change the other sequels.....They should have put much more violence in the series, but that won't happen..So I give it an: 8/10
Scream (1996)
Best slasher i've seen!
Scream is the best slasher i've ever seen. Not only is the acting phenomenal, but the amount of gore is what it should be. I hate it when there's just a little bit of gore, this one has more than the others. It is also very, very scary. Who wouldn't of been scared when Barrymore looks up and see's the Ghostface mask? And it wasn't a copy of any other movies, I don't get people who say it was a copycat of Friday the 13th, because it's not! No other movie before Scream was anything like it, and no one can argue with that. The amount of killing is also really good! It's not just like 2 kills like some of the new movies. It also is really hard to guess who it is. There are all these twists that keep you guessing. I recommend this movie to someone who wants gore and scares.
The Beast of Bray Road (2005)
I LOVE this movie! A great werewolf movie
I first watched this movie on TV... I liked it, I would of given it a 7/10. Then I watched the real, uncut movie. It's wonderful!! It is actually believable, and the monster doesn't look like a huge pile of Hair and meat. It has a lot of gore compared to other movies like Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street. It actually shows him eating the people. This is by far tied with the best werewolf movie i've ever seen.(with Silver Bullet) This is an underrated movie, I've watched it over and over again and I never get sick of it. If you like gore, and getting scared out of your pants, you'd really like this movie. Also, what's so wrong with the acting? It's perfectly fine to me. I saw the Departed( everyone said the acting was fantastic) and it was just as good. Just because it doesn't have any stars like Leonardo Decaprio or someone famous doesn't meant that the acting is bad. The acting in Nightmare on Elm Street was even worse. It is really cool that it is partially based on real events, there actually WAS a massacre of the pilgrims around the Bray Road area in the 1800's and there have been sightings ranging from 1900-2000.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003)
Some friends are traveling to a concert through the back-roads of Texas when they encounter a Weapon-wielding maniac
This is a great film. I never saw the original though, so I'm not sure if it was as good or not. Anyway, I like the storyline a lot, unlike all of those dumb, original "slow, lack-of-education kids run out of gas and are killed by a guy with a knife" I think one of the really scary things about TMC is that it shows actual real footage of Leatherface!! Now that's what I call scary. Then, i think it's really cool that leatherface isn't really slow and doesn't just walk towards people, he actually runs pretty fast. Compared to "Friday the 13th" or Nightmare on Elm Street, this is a very good horror flick. I would like if there was a little bit more people that were killed because some people could think, for example," Texas Chainsaw MASSACRE? Wow, that must mean it's a gorefest with 20 people killed!" instead of what it is. I recommend this to people who don't like too much gore, and like scares.
A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)
Wonderful Horror Fantasy!
What a movie! I had to watch it twice to see the genius in it. I just watched this movie, hearing both good and bad comments. I don't like fantasy( like when he pops out of nowhere and people float and stuff) but this fantasy was actually pretty cool. It's given me some nightmares, too! Much better then the second, but could have shown freddy like kill people in person with his knives. I am going to watch the other sequels and see if they're really as bad as people say they are. This is a classic movie and I really like it. It was also sortof a corny ending. Now this is stuck in my head, " 1, 2, Freddy's comin' for you"
