I've never been so numb watching a comedy

Predictable, long, tired and unoriginal jokes plague this show on all 10 episodes, the characters are 90% of the time unlikeable and the story is barely there In other words... it's the best out of the 3 shows this duo has ever done.

Great beginning, bad middle, DREADFUL ending

Warning: Spoilers
I honestly left feeling ANGRY about this movie. Nothing felt connected in this last film. It felt like a disjointed mess that never knew what it actually wanted to accomplish. This was terrible

The dialogue is predictable, abysmal and cheesy as it can be, in my theater almost NO ONE laughed at any of the intended humor, they kept feeding you everything, everytime something important a character said "happens" the character in the scene HAD to tell you the same line of dialogue, just in case you are too dumb to figure it out in yourself. There's a couple of character motivations that are either too short, uninteresting or just never concluded.

SPOILER ALERT.

What was the spy's end goal? Why did he want Kylo Ren to lose specifically? And wtf did Finn want to say to Rey? Also that final kiss... not earned, established or emotional. What was the emperor's final plan? He wanted Rey to kill him to take over him, but he told Kylo he wanted him to kill her, but then he just drains the energy out of both of them making him whole again so... was he making it up as it came along? It felt that way. For such a master manipulator he sure didn't seem to know what he was doing or at the very least, HOW he was going to do it

The two new female characters are just... there. We are supposed to relate to the other desserted Stormtrooper because her story is very similar to Finn and that chick with the Power Ranger Helmet... she loves Poe. Also how TF did she get out of that blowing planet without that coin First order thing?

But I think the biggest sin is... Darth Vader was practically rendered USELESS thanks to this movie. Anakin was the chosen one, even after he fell into the dark side, because HE delivers the finishing blow to Palpatine. He brings balance to the force after SO much time of him being corrupted, but now, Mary Rey Sue is the one that does him in; in the most godlike way possible. It's almost a slap to the face to George Lucas and all the fans that have been inspired by Star Wars. If this was REALLY the route that they were going for, why wasn't Kylo involved in Palpatine's death? He kept saying in the first movie: "I will finish what you started" to Vader's destroyed helmet. This movie not only broke the canon of the first movies, it broke it's own canon. It's almost like they ACTUALLY had no plan since the beginning

This movie was DREADFUL. The only good things I can say it was Kylo Ren (The only saving grace of these movies), the beginning and Chewie finally gets his medal, FFS

Also, at the risk of sounding like , Poe and Finn should've ended up together. Even in this black hole of a script they still showed more chemsitry than any other in this up and down of a trilogy.

As Enjoyable as I wanted it to be
16 June 2016
This is a movie that I was ACTUALLY looking forward to see. I've been a fan of the game from it's inception and I've played it a lot ever since. I would never call myself a die hard fan, but I enjoy the games enough to watch any animations that come out of this product. Saying that, the angry birds toons were wonderfully made, that one Star Wars short they did was beautifully animated, so for this movie, I was at the very least expecting great animation with striking visuals. That is EXACTLY what I got, and that alone would put this movie on a 6 out of 10.

Animation wise this movie is BEAUTIFUL, probably the best animated movie in the sense that the visuals have been the most interesting I've seen so far this year. Surpassing Kung Fu Panda 3 and Zootopia, I find this movie so colourful and pleasant to watch, I could watch this movie on mute and STILL enjoy it to it's fullest

In story it is very weak. Mighty eagle in particular felt very cliché, do they do play around with his cliché character a bit, but not enough to be very funny. Also very predictable storyline, you can pretty much guess what's going to happen by just watching the trailers.

However, what elevates this from a 6 to 7 for me is the character of RED, whom I found surprisingly relatable. Keep in mind, I was just expecting this movie to make me laugh and entertain me a bit, but I found myself really identifying with RED's cynicism and arc. Being a grump because of how people treat him and have treated him in the past but still desiring to hang out like a normal bird with everyone else, even though he's unable to open up to start a relationship with anyone. So I was very pleased with his resolution.

Overall, if you like the game, watch the movie. Worst case scenario, you'll enjoy it but never want to watch it again
