Turning Red (2022)
From the perspective of a teen girl
I think this is a pretty good but not Pixar standard
I find the plot very relatable with me and my mom when I turned 13 and started to branch off as my own person but it took me alot longer than Mei to show my true self (still kinda working on it now too 🙃)
But anyways the way Mei gradually digs in to her new self and panda felt good and I was rooting for her when her mom said that she wasn't herself and Mei told her how she felt (around the end of the movie)
But when Mei was talking to her mom in the spirit world felt kinda rushed I think they should've bonded a little more to really hone in the fact that Mei and her mom can still connect even if she becomes more independent
So yeah it's a good watch when your bored
Enjoy 😉
Glenn Martin DDS (2009)
Looking back at this show
I watched this when I was a kid even though my mom never let me.
Its a claymation show for adults
It was kinda popular back then
The jokes hit good even today
Like in the first episode Glenn calls a group of people gentlemen and there's a woman there that looks like a guy
And later he does it again
Looking at this now it's not the best but I think it holds up
Give it a watch if you have the time 😉
Kamiarizuki no kodomo (2021)
I died of boredom
Basically kanna the main character has a panic attack thinking about her dead mom and runs off then crys on her bracelet that her mom gave her which sends her to another plane of existence then a magic rabbit sends her on a fetch quest for food for the feast of the gods and she becomes a God too I think idk. Oh and also there's a monster boy that follows them and hates kanna and wants to take her place as god because she's not as cool as her mom. That's it. Don't watch, it's a waste of time.
