Don't Fuck in the Woods (2016)
No Scream Queens To Be Found Here
One of the characters talks about how in order to be a scream queen the actress needs to have talent as well as be good at screaming. There's no talent to be found in this movie so by her rationale there are no scream queens in this movie.
This isn't one of those "so bad it is good" kind of movies. It's just bad, really bad.
I'm assuming that the "actors" are friends of the director/writer and that's why they were cast. There's no way they had to audition. It doesn't seem like any of them have acted in anything prior to this nor have any of them gone to any kind of acting class. If they did go to an acting class, avoid that place at all costs because it is a waste of money.
Catfish Murder (2023)
whoever cast the "teens" needs to find a new job.
The three siblings who are meant to be around high school age all look like they're about 30+ years old.
It didn't make the movie believable in the least. The mom is worried about her son being bullied and he looks like he's 32, the sister comes home from soccer practice - surprisingly her own and not her 12 year old's.
It kind of makes the movie really hilarious to see these grown adults with a mom who is probably their peer. Were there really no other actor's who actually look like believable teens available for this movie?
How many people okayed this move? The bar is super low for lifetime movies to begin with, but this one really takes the cake.
The Stepmother (2022)
So bad, so very bad
This movie isn't even "so bad it's good" or an enjoyable guilty pleasure. It is just flat out HORRIBLE.
If this movie was written by an actual person and not AI I would be surprised. The lines do not seem natural, nor do the conversations. It's like whoever wrote it has never had an actual conversation in their entire life. That's why I'm assuming this was written by Artificial Intelligence instead.
The acting is just as bad as the script, but I'm sure it was hard to work with the material they were given. It's like everyone is just waiting for their turn to say their lines, but they don't understand what they are saying. There's no depth or emotion to what they're saying.
I'm thankful this movie was on a free streaming service, if only time was refundable. My decision to watch this has left me with much regret, save yourself time and skip this one.
