Not A Family Movie
26 June 2015
Warning: Spoilers
I took my kids to see this movie and regretted it. I excepted the war scenes to be a bit intense, pushing the limit for what I will let my kids watch but those scenes weren't too bad.

The rest of the movie though ... the teenagers are obnoxious stereotypes, the dad tries to drag the dog out of a metal cage and shoot it in the head (but is stopped), the dog is pretty vicious and has many scenes where it bites people or tries to or gets in dog fights. The Dad is angry all the time, the mother is crying (because of the dead brother).

This is not a happy family movie (as advertised) and I double checked the parental warnings. I wasn't worried that people said sh!t 5 times or we saw some 16 year old side boob. This movie is intense for kids and boring for adults.

What a Crazy Cool Movie
6 November 2004
I had heard from my brother that this was a really good movie, and usually I have the same taste in movies, but I wanted to just check up on it a bit before I went. I tried on IMDb and on the internet to find more detail about the plot, because really there is just a small blurb here and not much on the internet. But I went anyway, thought what the hell, and Wow. I realize now that there isn't much information because it is just so crazy, I don't think you can write down the plot and have it make much sense anyway. But I Loved this movie. I did find that at the being I was wondering, is this movie serious? Is the acting supposed to be this faux dramatic/bad? Until you meet Tommy, then you are assured...aha! it is insane. I love it!

I would see it again for the scene where Albert and Tommy have dinner with Steven's Family. I can't even remember half of the lines because I was laughing so hard.

Worst Movie Ever
6 January 2002
This is probably the worst movie I have ever seen. We got free passes to see a Sneak Preview and it is 90 minutes of my life that I want back, thank you very much. And I am not a movie snob, I like movies that could be considered bad by others, but this didn't even come close to being funny and who casts Tom Arnold to be in anything? really!!
