Bir Zamanlar Çukurova (2018)
Good scripts for recreating the historical drama and love story of 70 years (quite reminiscent of a western)
For the 4th season, I can say that the fresh addition of Ibrahim Çelikkol (Hakan) was a hit, which raised the rating of the series, as well as the performance of Hilal Altinbilek (Zuleyha)!
The couple had a good harmony! The sets, the costumes were exactly in line with that era! Although in some places the action was watered down, even the feeling of fragmentation was created, as if different stories were being followed between the characters and there was no collaboration between them, it still left a good impression! Especially in the last 10 episodes of the season, there were some impressive moments, the wedding of Zuleyha and Hakan, the fight against discrimination in women's work, and the specialty of Ibrahim (Hakan) when he sacrifices himself for the woman he loves! Because of the exceptional feeling of elegance, luxury and level created by the actors, especially by Ibrahim Çelikkol I give one more unit instead of 8, (9)
Overall good scripts for recreating the historical drama and love story of 70 years (quite reminiscent of a western) and good performance by the actors.
Kus Uçusu (2022)
Better scripts and strong male lead role
My demands are especially with the script which is full of gaps in places, the story is not fully developed and is quite contradictory, for example there is no backstory for Asli (Miray Daner) why she does what she does, which is very necessary in this context.
Young actress Miray Daner's acting is outstanding, but I don't imagine that the appearance should be that of an ambitious girl chasing a career! I like the couple. Birce Akalay and Ibrahim Celikkol from Price of the Passion(2017), but in this series they totally spoil the impression of them! As if the feeling remains that the film was made for Birce Akalay(Lale), and the character of Ibrahim (Kenan), which we are used to seeing in strong roles with a male presence, is here quite diluted and weak! My recommendations for a better success of the second season are better scripts, a strong lead role of Ibrahim Çelikkol, saturated with more power and emotionality, but not so much in the aspect of love relationships. Luck.
Dogdugun Ev Kaderindir (2019)
It's worth watching, perfect for lovers of casual, family dramas
Nice scripts based on a true story, presented exclusively by Demet Özdemir (Zeynep) and Ibrahim Çelikkol (Mehdi)! Demet with her sensuality and strong personality and Ibrahim with his strength and protection and chameleon transformation in season two! There were quite a few memorable moments - the two dancing at his little sister's wedding, Zeynep's graduation, Mehdi trying to protect Zeynep by sacrificing his life! The struggle of the young woman (Zeynep) for independence and against violence was well represented! While on the one hand it was interesting to see some of the lifestyles and parts of their culture, there was also a lot of blurring about it! In my opinion, the content could have been packed into fewer episodes rather than creating the feeling of clumsiness and even moments of boredom! But overall, it's worth watching, perfect for lovers of casual, family dramas.
