Cerdita (2022)
Not bad
For a low budget indie movie it was nice to see something good for a change. Carlota Pereda truly directed a captivating production that was well executed by Laura Galan and the rest of the cast. The points of view from the camera angles were on point and nice to see a cinematographer working well under the influence of the director to produce some incredible footage. The issue of bullying was very well done and not like most other attempts before this. You could truly feel sorry for and relate to the girl they called Piggy. Also nice to see no stock videos used in the production. Watched in both Spanish then English and both times found this movie enjoyable.
Kingslayer (2022)
Terrible
Written and directed by the same guy that starred in this terrible film. His acting was herendous as was the directing. Storyline is bad and the lack of the grasp on history or reality shines through. Terrible acting even from the once famous cast that really need to retire including John Rhys Davies.
Typical low budget indie garbage that wouldn't out do a 80s home made film. Best parts were looking at the forestry as the camera work was amateur at best. Was out of focus in parts , the static camera angles were horrific. The film was that terrible and horrifically made it could have made a horror movie.
Crock of Gold: A Few Rounds with Shane MacGowan (2020)
Rotten
Not the best subject matter as it's focused on a wannabe IRA member with one half decent Christmas song, what's next the life of noddy. Can see why they used cartoons as everytime Johnny Depp pops up its like spotting where's Wolly. Badly edited, badly filmed and a half decent colour grade makes this trash look more like an Indie low budget production. Good to see a bully suffering now he's old.
