I was a bit sceptical before watching it but I'm just going to say that this series deserves higher rating.
People seem to be hating for no reason, mostly those " I read a book" people that hate on every TV series based on a book. I even saw one rating saying that acting is poor and I really don't understand. Some people just get into watching something with too much of an expectation and they make their opinions based on a book which is unrealistic. Looks like IMDB ratings are a lot of time unreasonable.
To finish of, series is well rounded, good plot, great acting and amazing scenery, if you like sci-fi, this is it. I have seen series with the same rating that are no where near as good as this one.
