SAS: Red Notice (2021)
Not that bad despite Ruby Rose
I wasn't expecting much given that it has Ruby Rose in it, in fact I actively avoided it for a long time, watching it was the bottom of the Netflix barrel!
Yes Ruby Rose is dreadful, it's like watching a brick trying to pretend to not be a brick or a stick trying to be a real girl.
But the story isn't as ridiculous as some report, it's your basic Bond type story with a few twists and turns.
Sam Heughan is a very good and capable hero type, maybe the next Bond perhaps?
It doesn't make sense that after Major who is in charge is killed the next in the chain of command is a Sergeant who is then the "boss".
Andy Serkis is not so precious, a bad cockney accent on what appears to be a British Army officer is unlikely.
Not bad but please don't cast Ruby Rose.
Warnie (2023)
Fantastic
A fantastic example of the best of Australian programming, Australian TV just doesn't any better than this, ignore the haters who are scoring this low and incorrectly labelling in a "disgrace"....
The script and acting are quite simply the very best of Australian talent, it doesn't get any better.... I don't think that I have seen such quality since my daughter's grade seven school play....
It's a shame that it is limited to only two episodes, there is surely a lot more of Shane Warne's story to tell and I for one love to hear more of the painful story.
Shane Warne was a sporting genius and this show demonstrates that.
