Sleeper Film
19 September 2012
This sleeper film is great classic.Starring singer frank Sinatra as "Frankie machine"Also starring Eleanor parker as Frankie's wife.Kim novak play molly.Beautiful as always is Kim.

Considered controversial in it's portrayal of addiction upon it's release in 1955.Shot in black and white.Produced and directed by Otto Preminger.

This movie shows how one individual struggles to change his life situation. How his past nearly destroys his future. As this film show we can overcome our demons and let someone help us on our life pathway to recovery. This film is available on DVD and VHS.

I really think frank Sinatra was and still is unrated as an actor.watch these following films,Manchurian candidate, from here to eternity, lady in cement, and a little gem of a film "Suddenly".Hope my review helped.

I really liked this film.It was a great escape.Alec Baldwin in lead plays the shadow.named Lamont Cranston.Wonderful acted and plays a good detective type superhero.Penelope Anne Miller plays love interest Margo Lane.John Lone plays the heavy.playing Shiwan Kahn.Ian Mckellan known for X-men and Gods and Monsters, plays Margo's father Dr.Reinhardt.Also starring is comedy legend Jonathon Winters who plays Barth.Tim Curry from Legend and Rocky Horror Show also shows up in this film.Peter Boyle plays sidekick taxi driver. You might remember Peter from Young Frankenstein. This movie takes you back to when "shadow" was a serial.Campy humour. I've watched this movie ten times. It a good escape film.If you liked this film you might like Dick Tracy starring Warren Beatty.

Fast moving Elvis
8 February 2011
You might not think of Elvis to be a great actor. but it sure is fun to see him try and sing some great songs along the way.Enjoy this film with Nancy Sinatra and Gale Gordon.Bill Bixby plays scene stealing womanizer, remember the "hulk".You'll see Elvis racing car number 6 in the Charlotte 100 race.Along for the ride are Richard Petty,Buddy Baker Cale Yarborough,Dick Hutcherson and Tiny Lund.Elvis sings the hit song "let yourself go" and Nancy Sinatra sings "You groovy self" Premiered in Charlotte,North Carolina on June 12 1968.Two not known facts about this film are:Sonny & Cher refused roles in this film and Petula Clark turned down role of Susan Jacks.Available from Warner Brothers in 1968.If You enjoyed this one try "Spinout" also by Elvis.

good chase film
8 February 2011
This is a real gem of a chase thriller.I think this film isn't well known.Oscar winners Michael Caine and Sidney Poitier are well matched together.Nicol Williamson is quite a scene stealer and a wonderful actor.Available from MGM.and also stars Persis Khambatta from "Star Trek original movie" and Rutger Hauer, known for "Blade Runner". This film reminded me of the film "Defiant Ones" 1958.Pairing Tony Curtis and Poitier together. Sidney Poitier won Oscar for Lillies in the field 1963. Michael Caine won supporting actor for Cider House Rules 1999. So watch this movie and see if you agree with me that it is a gem! If you liked this film you might watch Shoot to Kill 1988.
