The Lair (2022)
Those Accents!
Apart from everything else that's amiss in this film (which is A LOT) it is ,quite possibly, the largest collection of truly awful accents featured in a single film. One of the "American" characters refers to "Christmas crackers"! Were there no Americans hanging around in Budapest to proofread a script that features so many US characters? Keeping track of what was being said was difficult as I was so distracted by the dodgy accents and cliched writing. Akin to watching "Downton Abbey" as if it were performed by the Kardashians!
I can't recommend it, even as camp. Hard to believe this is the same person who directed "The Descent".

Maybe do just a Bit of research.
It's, unfortunately, common in modern horror to encounter characters representing members of the Roman Catholic clergy who bear no resemblance to anyone you'd encounter in the actual Church. All other problems aside, this episode has a character that's supposed to be a nun who is, inexplicably, dresssed like an Eastern Orthodox priest. Her duties, in what's supposed to be a Catholic Church (it isn't), consist of mopping the floors in the wee hours. There doesn't appear to be any other clergy present. The church is generically "Christian" and she seems to think warding off evil consists of brandishing a gold cross (ineffectively!) As others have pointed out, there are a lot of problems with this episode. It just seems that consulting an actual Catholic before you introduce a Catholic character would be a pretty easy thing to do.

In the name of all that is holy!
What, in the name of all that is holy, was Crispín Glover trying to convey with that abominable accent? It veered wildly from something resembling cockney to Australian to Brooklyn to Czech. Was it supposed to resemble something like a Boston accent, because I don't believe it came even close. It was disturbingly distracting and removed me from the story to such a degree that I lost all interest. Was there no one on the set who had ever encountered a living being from New England? Old Dick Van Dyke sounded like he'd spent his entire life within earshot of Bow Bells in Mary Poppins compared to Glover's attempt at a wicked Boston accent!
