The Wingfeather Saga: Escape to Peet's Castle (2023)
S1:E4 Meticulous Notes for the Wingfeather Team
It was mentioned that the Wingfeather Team could, at a later date, go back and touch up previous episodes of the show and fix some errors. Here are some standout ones I found to make that process easier! These did not ruin the experience for me, but I think this might be helpful to the team! Thanks again, Elijah Elliott (Aerwiar Archives)
- When the candle is blown out, the light should flicker, and either the flame should blow out a bit smoother, or the wick, if possible, should glow red for a second before cooling off. Right now, it looks like a big jump between lit and unlit.
That's the only thing I found! Great episode!

- When Zouzab says the line "Tink hid plumyumminess!" it is barely audible, and should be slightly louder before fading.
- The squeeblin had very little shadow effect applied, despite standing in the darkness of the forest. In general, it was too white for the surrounding scene, and felt out of place.
- In the running shot at 17:31, Janner's expression is oddly static and the running in general seems slightly slow while the camera movement is too smooth.

- In the beginning of the episode at 00:14, the crows suddenly and obviously render in.
- At 10:57, Ferinia's mouth moves a second or two before the matching voice lines are spoken.
That's about all I noticed for this one... a pretty clean episode, I do say!
The Wingfeather Saga: Leeli & The Sea Dragon Song (2022)

- In the shots where Tink sees the cave blat, and when the arrow misses and bounces around, the first arrow is not present in the target sack.
- While Tink is throwing the ball at 20:04, Janner and Leeli are obviously static.
- In the shot from behind Armulyn when he says "don't you all look beautiful", some clones of the 2D background characters are very obviously pixelated despite the graphic having a higher-quality render in other parts.
The Wingfeather Saga (2022)
A show for anyone and everyone.
I have always been a fan of Andrew Peterson's phenomenal book series, so when news reached me of an animated series in development, I was more than excited to see what the Wingfeather Saga team could put together. And I was not disappointed. This series, despite condensing the story, adapts it in a way that makes it enjoyable for the screen and yet true to the core parts of the books. While the events may not exactly match up, and certain details may be added, the characters and heart of the story remain intact, with Andrew Peterson maintaining creative control presiding over the project alongside executive producer Chris "Charlie Wingfeather" Wall. Season One was a blast, and I can't wait to see what comes of Season Two, and I'm especially looking forward to the soundtracks being released! Great work, Angel Studios and Wingfeather teams!
