Tin & Tina (2023)
Tin & Tina: A Decent Entry in Spanish Cinema
Is the movie of the year? Is the plot perfect and with issues?
No, "Tin & Tina" is not the movie of the year, nor does it boast a flawless plot. However, it's certainly not deserving of the title of the worst movie ever, as some have claimed.
This Spanish film offers a decent viewing experience, showcasing an above-average quality compared to many entries in Spanish cinema. While it may not revolutionize the genre, "Tin & Tina" manages to hold its own with a unique storyline and competent execution.
While some aspects of the plot may have their flaws, overall, it's an engaging and intriguing narrative that keeps the audience invested. The characters are well-developed, and the performances are commendable.
In conclusion, "Tin & Tina" may not be groundbreaking, but it's far from being a disappointment. It's a movie worth giving a chance, and I don't regret the time I spent watching it.
The Following (2013)
Promising Premise, But Ultimately Disappointing
"The Following" had the potential to be something truly remarkable, with its intriguing concept of using Edgar Allan Poe as a backdrop and the charismatic professor turned cult leader. However, it's unfortunate that this potential was largely squandered.
The plot of the series is riddled with so many flaws that it's hard to overlook them. It's easier to point out what actually makes sense in the storyline than to list its numerous inconsistencies. Most of the characters are painfully poorly written, and many of them either start off as bad characters or undergo a baffling transformation into one-dimensional figures.
The saving grace of the series is Joe Carroll, portrayed brilliantly by the actor. His character adds depth and intrigue to the show, but unfortunately, everything else falls short.
In the end, "The Following" falls flat in delivering on its initial promise. It's a shame that such a potentially great idea was marred by inconsistent writing and poorly developed characters. I can only give it 3 out of 10 stars, with Joe Carroll being the sole redeeming factor.
I want my time back.
Scary Movie 5 (2013)
So bad I'll need therapy
"Scary Movie 5 is an absolute disaster of a film. It's so bad that it makes you wonder how the people behind it managed to greenlight such a travesty. Everything about this movie is awful. The humor is painfully unfunny, the plot is nonsensical, and the performances are cringe-worthy. It's a cinematic train wreck that makes you question the very concept of making movies. The creators of this film should be held accountable for subjecting audiences to such a dreadful experience. From the abysmal writing to the uninspired gags, it's hard to find a single redeeming quality. Even if you're a fan of the parody genre, this film will leave you utterly disappointed. It's a textbook example of how not to make a comedy. The previous Scary Movie entries had their moments, but this one takes the franchise to a new low. You'll be left in awe at the sheer lack of quality on display. The only scary thing about Scary Movie 5 is how anyone thought it was a good idea. If there were ever a case for a movie to be locked away and never seen again, this would be it."
Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One (2023)
Except Tom Cruse everything is bad
I recently watched the new Mission Impossible film, and I must say I was quite disappointed. While Tom Cruise's performance was commendable, the movie suffered greatly due to its terrible storyline and nonsensical character interactions.
The storyline felt like a mishmash of convoluted subplots that never quite came together cohesively. It left me feeling confused and disconnected from the narrative, which is a stark departure from the high standards set by previous Mission Impossible films.
Moreover, the interactions between the characters felt forced and lacked the chemistry that made the earlier installments so enjoyable. It seemed like the characters were going through the motions without any real emotional depth or purpose, making it hard to invest in their relationships.
I won't give this movie a 1-star rating solely because of Tom Cruise's dedication to his role, but it's unfortunate that even his performance couldn't salvage the shortcomings of the film. Overall, the new Mission Impossible failed to live up to its predecessors, leaving me disappointed and wanting more from a franchise that has delivered so much in the past.
Depp VS Heard: The Verdict (2022)
Too many boring youtubers
It has a lot of potential due to the interest of the case but so many youtubers and boring tiktokers saying things that are not even interesting or relevant to the case, made it a torture to watch at some point.
This could have been a nice 2 episodes but they decided to make it a 3 boring ones and sacrificed the series with irrelevant stuff.
Watch this if you want to get annoyed by random tiktokers saying things that are obvious and irrelevant, but skip it if you want information about the trial and the reasons that lead to Amber's and Johnny Deep's to have one of the most mediatic cases of this century.
The Matrix Resurrections (2021)
Everything made in this century turns into trash
Like all movies make in this decade, matrix was completely trashed. Neo is a pathetic character and all women are predictably strong and brave.
Full of cliches and uncharismatic new characters, weird lines and boring story line. I wished I could get the time back to continue living in the illusion that matrix was one of the best movie series ever made. With this sequel I have a sad bittersweet taste.
Who wrote this script should be judged in Hague for destroying one of the best masterpieces of the history of cinema.
We live in the medieval age of cinema and nothing of this will be remembered soon.
Congrats. I hope the money paid off.
