Nowhere Man (2005)
Excellent dark horror/humor
This is a must see film and Debbie Rochon's performance is her best one ever. Debbie will invoke emotions in you. as she chooses her own special type of vengeance upon a boyfriend that takes offense to previous job that Jennifer once held. Debbie by all rights should be collecting awards for her performance in this difficult role
Tim McCannn has has written a great script and done great job in directing this film. Michael Rodrrick and Frank Oliverare really good in their roles as the abusive boyfriend and the porn star/friend
I was really glad to hear that it was showing in limited release in New York, Chicago, and L.A.
This movie is a lot better then some of the stuff showing in theaters today and a must buy when it comes out on DVD
Star Trek: Nemesis (2002)
Coping from past ST and other films
I went into this movie hoping for the best and was greatly disappointed.
All I saw basically was a things from early Star Trek and other films like Gladiator and Excalibur.
Also the ending was no surprise.
Also some familiar faces were just wasted in the beginning
If for any reason they they decide to do another Star Trek film.
I have the following 3 suggestions
1 Hire Peter David as the writer
2 Bring back John De Lancie as Q. The best episodes for the beginning one to the final TV one was when Picard had face off with Q
3. Get Jonathan Frakes to direct it again
The next Generation has always been my favorite of the different series but this movie just wasn't up to snuff
Bleed (2002)
Bleeding twisted
Here is a movie that opens with two brutal murders before the opening credits. Not for the faint of heart. As the title says there is a lot of bleeding in this movie. Not all of the cast members make it to the end of the movie. (Big surprise I know)
Debbie Rochon is at the top of her game playing a lady who is a bit off kilter, has a troubled past, and possessive girlfriend. Someone who really wants to fit in.
The entire cast plays well off each other.
A very interesting cameo by Brinke Stevens and Lyold Kauffauman ( to say more would be a spoiler)
Julie Strain helps to open the movie
There is eye candy for both the guys and ladies in this movie The guys looked as if they stepped of the pages of GQ and the ladies look just look fine. With partial nudity from both sides (butts and topless.)
Is this the perfect Slasher/horror film, No. Is it worth buying and watching YES.
*****Spoiler Alert************ There is one aspect of Debbie character they didn't explain that threw things off. Her dreams.
