Ok so first of all , I don't agree with the people who called this movie overrated because if anything it's rather underrated in my opinion. Everything about this movie is good in my opinion. It has some very unique gore , a actually scary clown , and main characters who aren't annoying. The scalp scene left me in shook , and this even tho I watched a lot of horror movies , and thought nothing would shook me anymore haha. The creativity and brutality was amazing. The ending was a bit confusing and didn't made sense but all the amazing kill scenes made up for that. I think this movie is much better then "It" who was very boring in my opinion, and the characters were much more likable. I definitely consider this movie one of my favs.

So first of all if you're not into gore or slather elements I wouldn't suggest watching it. I myself had pretty high expectations of this movie , since people told me it's very disturbing but I was disappointed. The movie isn't more brutal then any other cannibal movie ; well at least in my opinion. Honestly the Movie is just like wrong turn but with more cannibals and in a different terrain.the beginning was unnecessarily long ; especially one part where two of the people go taking a piss ; like the scene was so long and unnecessary in my opinion. Basically it's just a normal cannibal movie that's overrated in my opinion ye.

In my opinion the movie was kinda boring...idk I feel like the whole message was : Oh look how beautiful Monica bellucci is The story just wasn't interesting enough for me , I didn't finished the movie because nothing much happened. I just wish the movie focused more on a interesting story line then keep telling us how beautiful Monica is. The movie is very aesthetically pleasing and I liked the music they used. I thinks it's kinda disappointed that the movie gets told from the boys view and not Monica's because he isn't interesting for me neither , just the average teen going through puberty , seeing the movie from Monica's view would be much more interesting . Just my opinion, if you like Monica go ahead and watch it.
