The Unholy (2021)
Very enjoyable
It is obviously so hard to come up with something new but I really enjoyed this one. And of course I am a huge Jeffrey Dean Morgan fan but I loved how this film gave you a witch/demon/faith story that for me was very satisfying. But if you are into gore and heavy horror then yeah maybe this one was not for you.
Also being a New Englander and having this take place in Massachusetts also helped. When you grow up close to Salem, visiting there often and getting caught up in the tales of God vs Satan, you can really enjoy a story like this. Jeffrey Dean Morgan is excellent and it is nice to see him a a Non-Negan Walking Dead role. This film will challenge your faith.
Amityville Horror: The Evil Escapes (1989)
Suspend thy disbelief!
Suspend thy disbelief and just enjoy the ride. Yeah it is kind of silly but also fun to watch due to the cast. Check out pre-Nog Star Trek Deep Space Nine Aron Eisenberg who plays the son. Speaking of Star Trek, Spock's mommy Jane Wyatt plays the grandma.
And after watching this movie, keep it in mind before you buy that crazy weird looking lamp at the next yard sale.
Rome (2005)
The only reason to watch this is Ray Stephenson
Early episodes are very slow and they producers seem more interested in presenting soft core pornography.
Ray Stephenson's character Pullo is the shiny star here. He adds humor and heroics to an otherwise tedious storyline about the rise of Caesar. However if you like period pieces with high production value then you are probably in the right place.
The Outer Limits: Feasibility Study (1997)
SCIENCE FICTION AT ITS BEST
This episode, a remake of the original Outer Limits episode of the same name, is an outstanding example of the greatness of this series. This episode showcasing the very best of humanity. Outstanding cast led by the magnificent David McCallum, this episode will leave you wondering - what would I do?
