Solar Opposites (2020)
The best part of the show is the side-story about THE WALL.
Just an average show that would not have much following or the inflated rating had the creator not also become famous for creating Rick and Morty.
The main story is more or less an inter-dimensional cable arc, sadly lacking anyone named Michael, that mostly falls flat. It feels like Rick and Morty with extra steps. The real gem of this show is the The Wall and the characters within. It's no surprise the Wall episode is the highest crowd rated in the season.
Game of Thrones: The Long Night (2019)
The One Great Threat, aka 'Winter is Coming', was anti-climatic.
Cinematography: 9/10 (lighting)
Music: 9/10
Acting: 9/10
Story/Plot: 2/10
The great, number one threat we were told about for 8 years, 20+ for book readers, was all for naught. The unfortunate writing ended it all immediately without repercussions. A deus ex machina is really all it was. What happened to the previous seven seasons where if a character slipped up once, maybe twice, they had dire repercussions? Humanity killed death and really lost nothing for it. It's disappointing for what was such a great episode up until the end. This will be a very divisive episode in the series and will more than likely leave a bad taste for many.
