Summer Catch (2001)
Poor
29 June 2002
I was just thinking about the ending of this movie so that I could go out and catch some fresh air. The film's setting looked cheap, the acting wasn't too good, (Prinze's mundane roles, Jessica Biel's 'rebellious' teen roles, Mathew Lillard's 'dumb' roles...). If you want to make a film about achieving your goles and making your dreams come true (aka "Rocky, "The Karate Kid", "Center Stage") you have to do it with class, and great actors. This is just a typical American "Teen" movie. Jessica Biel's performance was yet another way of showing the world that she is not as innocent as one would think of her on "7th Heaven". All this made it difficult for me to watch, maybe the love scenes were a bit creative, and the soundtrack was OK too, but that is not what it takes to make a good movie. It lacks inspiration to the viewer. I think this film is a minus 5 thumbs down! Only 11-year-olds would really enjoy it.

Run Lola Run (1998)
An excellent piece of mind-twisting action!

Now this is what I call "masterpiece". Seriously, I haven't seen a film like this in quite a while. It was Franka Potente's great performance and the Tom Tykwer's flawless job that caused the birth of this exquisite film. Watch it to guarantee an adrenaline rush and tired eyes!

"Three Men & A Little Lady" puts you in the right mood. It becomes a sort of "addiction" once you've seen it. It portrays the typical American lifestyle, with a touch of English humor. An unusual plot makes it hard for you to get bored. The film's great share of actors captivate the viewer, and the lovely soundtrack adds delight to the ears. And I must say I haven't seen Fiona Shaw any funnier :)
