Love the show!
20 August 2019
I love the show. I love the actors, I love the writing, and I love how generally positive it is. I am a bit sad so many people are disappointed with Season 03, but for my part I loved it as much as the first 2 seasons. I can only hope for more!

Just watch the Suchet versions
27 January 2019
Warning: Spoilers
So, I don't necessarily mind adjustments made to source material. Sometimes, what makes sense in a book doesn't quite translate on screen. But I do mind what Branagh did to Poirot as a character. I also really dislike the ending which hints at Death On The Nile, promptly spoiling half the story. I would suggest watching the Poirot series featuring David Suchet if you are keen on "who done it" detective stories, as Suchet was by far the closest, most accurate depiction (Ustinov was too fat and over the top for the character).

A damn shame this was cancelled
27 January 2019
Like Happy Endings, "Don't Trust the B" is a show that was cancelled way too soon. It's naughty, unapologetic, and it brings back an epic James Van Der Beek playing a wicked version of himself.

The Sopranos: Made in America (2007)
Season 6, Episode 21

A rather subjective ending, very nice!
30 March 2008
Warning: Spoilers
I have read a few of the reviews and opinions about this final episode, and I must admit that like many I was rather surprised by this abrupt ending. Yet the more I think about it, the more I understand the final scene in a way that doesn't seem to have struck anybody else (that maybe because I am actually wrong!). I actually believe that, although things have gone back to normal for the Soprano Family (both biological and Business), the suspicious looking Italian is a metaphor of the permanent threat that dangles above Tony Soprano, who, for all his money and "success", has to live an extremely dangerous and precarious life. This impression is reinforced by the two black guys who enter the restaurant after the Italian guy. They also look kind of dangerous, at least the show has gotten used to spot gangsters throughout the 6 marvelous seasons. Still, the point of view according to which Tony gets killed implicitly is very valid and believable. Ultimately, this episode is a beautiful ending to what i consider to be the best show ever made
