Sugar (2024)
Shocked
The premise of the show was promising. Then someone who had seen the first two episodes recommended it to me. So I gave it a go, but just one episode in I am shocked at how bad this actually is. All scenes seem fake, that voiceover annoys the hell out of me and on top of that it is really really boring.
Honestly I do not understand the good rating. It is an absolute shame on Colin Farrels talent.
I have a pretty high tolerance for not too good tv, can look beyond ridiculousness in a lot of series as long as there is a compelling story. This just does not bring that to the table. Boring, unconvincing, unbelievable, watching the second episode now, to see if it get better, nope... same boring stuff.
Will Trent (2023)
Just not the will trent from the books.
If you have read the books, forget about those. That is better for the viewing experience. Being a fan of the books the first time i could only watch one episode. I just couldn't look at this as being in the same universe as the books. Yes some elements are the same but in general the whole vibe is different. Fast forward to a couple of months later, I tried a second time, this time NOT watching with the source material in mind. Then it is quite decent. Not fantastic, but watchable. I would have rated it a 6.5 if possible. Just do not think of it as an adaptation of the book series and you should be okay.
The Wheel of Time (2021)
A bit disappointed.
When I first heard amazon was going to adapt the book series to a tv series I was very excited. However 6 episodes in, I am a bit disappointed. I have read the books, and do usually not mind is the story is altered. In this case the alterations are often unnecessary and not adding to the storyline. Story feels very rushed, and to little background or character development is shown. Unfortunate, as it looks ok. With these budget something much better could have been made.
Y: The Last Man (2021)
Deserves a 2nd season
Not the best but very amusing and well acted. I really enjoyed watching this. Puzzles me why it had been cancelled. Also dont understand the relatively low graden on imdb.
The Walking Dead: World Beyond (2020)
Not even half as bad as people claim it to be.. actually pretty good!
Getting a bit tired of all these people who are so set on bashing TWD and everything related. This show has more potential than most crap on tv or other streaming services. I tried Marvels runaways now that was real bad imho. This is maybe not an action packed zombie bashing show. But to me that is the strength of the whole TWD franchise. It brings more than just the gore. I found the first episode well acted and exciting. Don't know what all the hate is about. Just check it out!
Motherland: Fort Salem (2020)
Yes it is stupid, but i loved it anyway
Ok ok very absurd, yet, I binged it :) acting is not too bad, overall story kept me interested, the ridiculousness is within my limits of acceptance. So I enjoyed watching it a lot!
Stumptown (2019)
Why did they cancel this?
2 episodes in and absolutely lovin it. Great chemistry between actors. Funny, nice touch of drama, it is just great stuff i enjoy tremendously.
Cinderella (2021)
Wanted to like it, but just didnt
Turned it off after 10 minutes, it just didn't work. Neither the acting nor the songs where good enough. It felt just bad all the way...
Virgin River (2019)
Horrible but somehow kinda addictive
What is to say, bad acting, cliché story line but still binge worthy :) . Hell i dont even find the characters likable save for preacher. Hate myself for liking it but for some reason you just keep watching.
Shadow and Bone (2021)
Decent but definately not extraordinary
Overall good show, not the best acting, but very reasonable production. Ben Barnes being te exception, excellent performance!! Imho Mal was an example of teribble casting, for some reason his character did not work for me at all.
The Walking Dead: Home Sweet Home (2021)
Thrilling episode
I was on the edge of my seat the entire episode. Everything you want from TWD excitement & solid characters. Love it
The Mandalorian: Chapter 16: The Rescue (2020)
Wow. Just wow.
Is there any more I need to say. BEST SERIES EVER! Star wars how it should be.
Fear the Walking Dead (2015)
Much better than a 7.
Usually I feel the ratings on IMDb are quite adequate. Not in this case though. It blows my mind that this one only get a 7 total it is so much better than a lot of series made today. Production quality, character development and a pretty interesting premise for the storyline-. Same as TWD original series - make up for some good binging. A 10 maybe overrated but I would say it is worth a good solid 8.5 at least.
Enola Holmes (2020)
Bad casting of enola
I didn't like Millie Bobby Brown one bit in the role of Enola. Just didn't deel right. This movie had all the potential to be fun and failed miserably.
The Walking Dead: World Beyond (2020)

The Walking Dead: World Beyond: Brave (2020)
Really loved it.
I must say i was a bit worried before watching, but actually the first episode was really enjoyable. It has a bit more of a tweeny nerdy vibe but it is still living up to walking dead standards of production value and great acting. Also it keeps you om edge with this mysterious community of the CRM... I Just wanted to see more after one episode. Isnt that what tv series should be about? I know some critics say it is more of the same, but why not? I really loved it!
Fear the Walking Dead: End of the Line (2019)
Please ignore the very vocale haters...
Watch it, it is actually pretty good stuff! Maybe nog the best buy i actually like it more than twd Maine series... Which i also absolutely love. I general hate horror but i think what draws me is that it is emotional and characters struggle with who they are and who they want to be. + It is exciting and there is action! In general i really love the pacing and production value. There is so much worse stuff on tv!! Please keep this one alive
Fear the Walking Dead: Channel 5 (2019)
Sorry
Buy i loved it... I understand it is unrealistic, slow and seems uneventful but hell do is love this series. I don't get the hate for S5. I even like it more than S4.
Fear the Walking Dead: Channel 4 (2019)
Really loved it
Why does everyone seem to be so hellbent on action packed episodes? I loved this one even though it is aimed at what drives the characters.
This series is so much better than most stuff on tv... And much better than it is given credit for!
The Missing (2014)
Unbelievable
First episode was ok-ish I am down to S1E6 now and to be honest it is quite an absurd show... Just like the movie Taken why on earth would eastern European gangs abduct targets that attract so much attention so why is the police even investigating that they lost me there. Acting is horrible at times and most characters are unlikable. I expected this series to be much better but I am really disappointed.
Fear the Walking Dead: Laura (2018)
Loved it.
I still like TWD even watched season 1-8 twice. Wasn't sure if I would like FTWD but absolutely love it as well. Season 4 also is really checking all the boxes for me. Both TWD and FTWD just are incredible well made, good storytelling, excellent cinematography and great acting. I know Garret Dillahunt mainly from his bad guy roles. So far he is super sweet in this show :)
The Walking Dead: After (2014)
2nd time watching TWD still the best series around
I guess this is the ONLY series ever I watch for the second time and it still kicks ass. I watched it for the first time two years back then I read the comics and now watching for the second time. I think this episode is brilliant but they all are. Also I think it is extremely clever and superbly executed how the series and the comic are the same and yet different. I was surprised at some of the twists and turns in the comic although most larger story arcs are the same. I also think it is one of the best series on a psychological level. I feel none of the characters are good guys without flaws.. Carl can be stupid but still he is a good kid having to act all grown up before his time. I liked this episode better the second time for some reason...
Fear the Walking Dead (2015)
Much better than a 7.

The Walking Dead: Bury Me Here (2017)
Great episode.
When starting watching season 7 I had some fear it wouldn't be as good as previous seasons taking all negative reviews in account. So far I still don't get it. This was again a great episode focused on Morgan and the kingdom. It had tension and surprised, yes they are subtle and less action packed, but still these kind of episodes are so necessary to give the story depth and meaning.
The Walking Dead: Swear (2016)
Solid episode
What can I say, I really enjoy these character focused episodes. I think it is one of the strengths of TWD to fit these in, filler or not still very much worth watching.
