Not a bad vehicle to show off Freddie Highmore. Plotline is decent if a little silly. The planning and smoothness of the caper are pretty good.
My biggest issue pertains to the titular Vault section of the film. Thom's big hurdle is he over thinks things. Wouldn't a jack or stiff leg be the simplest solution to tricking the scale. Then secondarily, during the flooding, water is displaced by volume. The boxes and stuff added to the middle of the vault as well as the people would alter the "full" weight needed to trigger the vault to drain.
Leaving the science and engineering out, it was pretty darn fun to watch.
