In my mind it's the best JP Belmondo movie! It's done in his best acting era and also technically and artistically it is excellent Belmondo movie! Even Morricone did sound for this movie! As all Belmondo aficionados know, the script and plot has not to much of importance but here it is quite good! Also he does some stunts in this movie also! Only thing with this movie I don't like is that I haven't found it with Englis subs or translation. So I have seen it in my language long time ago (about 20yrs) and lately with different languages. I am Belmondo fan but I like this movie best also because his choice of car/cars in here. He is driving Lotus Super Seven which is superb sportster in the world! Anyway, go and see it!

This is quite good (if you like soviet movies)comedy which includes some hidden inside jokes about soviet system. Now there is DVD version available in Estonia and it has English subtitles! However this movie should be understand in Estonian language. In this movie appear also young Katrin Karisma and some other now famous actors. Furthermore, it includes good old time Estonian superstars like super funny Ervin Abel and Lia Laats! Their use of language is unbearable and total laughingstock. I liked it also because in movie one can see nice and clean '70es Tallinn and soviet era furniture and living conditions. It's so nostalgic. One of most funniest soviet era Estonian comedies! Recommend strongly!

I watched lately this movie and enjoyed a lot. I love old French movies anyway. But this one had kind of nice storyline in it also. It was directed quite well. Picture didn't jump around and kept in line with story. It had even some musical touch and it was nice to hear old French songs. It didn't to become boredom though. It stopped singing fast enough. Movie was filmed around cities in different European countries and scenes were pretty. Also acting work was professional level and much more robust than Hollywood acting. Less sugar coating! I would recommend this movie to any Francophile and also crime movie liker! It is really fun to watch and something different from nowadays.

I watched this movie again and as with so much old movies which were cool in my youth are disappointments now. Actually this has good explanation also. Nowadays movie makers have so much advanced tools and good experience in competition. That means better quality in movies. Downside is commercialism. Let's get back to this movie. I still do like it and cars are cool. So is African race trail! Also interesting is that drivers aren't wearing helmets! Movie plot or plots are really chaotic and not so much of interest here. Accidents are made poorly also, but those inserted actual rally clips are fun to see! I would recommend this movie if you like old B movies and rally or cars for that matter! It's quite hard to find this movie anyway.

I'm not too found of old movies, but once a while I try to watch one or two. This time it was a hit! Jean Seberg and Jean Paul Belmondo deliver an excellent play! Nowadays new movies are so sugar coated that it makes things bland. This piece has all emotions and acts as raw as possible and realistic what makes watching this movie a bit uncomfortable. This little itch is what's missing from new movies. All randomness here was perfectly conducted and many details seem unimportant are meaningful. I also found in black and white movie very intriguing to watch. Especially, how beautiful actress was in this movie, seducing but so innocent, kind a good girl but a little dirty also. B/W format leaves something for your imagination as well. This is movie I would like to see again some day!

For me this movie seems a little chaotic, it mostly jumps from scene to scene and doesn't follow theme line very accurately. Still, it's entertaining movie for action or cop movie fans. At time of original release this was an excellent action film, but for time being action movies are at totally new level. Therefore don't expect too much. This movie has some good points thought. First of all, we see very good starting actor, young Tchéky Karyo here. Second, for car fans there is a car chase scene with Ford Mustang. Third, Belmondo makes his own stunts. Quite interesting is also to watch the first orange bullet train speeding in France! It's a little nostalgic to see this movie. I would say that after every 15 years or so, it is fun to see it again

I saw this movie a couple times and I enjoyed very much both times. But you have to know history about Soviet Revolution to get it. This parody is pretty intelligent and really funny! Laughs from start to end. Most interesting about this movie is its story, which starts claiming world power to small country named Estonia !! But still main line is on Lenin or should we say All Lenin's. I recommend watching it for its laughs and new views of history. My points: ***** excellent movie.
