Worth watching.

Warning: Spoilers
Synopsis. A sadistic killer, Garland "Red" Lynch, uses a campaign of terror to force San Francisco bank teller Kelly Sherwood to steal $100,000 from the bank for him. Despite Lynch's threat to kill Sherwood or her teenage sister Toby if she goes to the police, Sherwood contacts the San Francisco office of the FBI, where agent John Ripley takes charge of the case.

A treat. Def worth watching. I'm no movie critic and don't feel I should comment, but this is an overlooked film, I feel was ahead of it's time. I don't like Glenn ford so rarely watch his movies, but the rest of the cast sucked me in.

Every character actor through the 60s-90s appears in this. Some people feel it was too long, but it never dragged.

Wondering...
4 December 2021
In the beginning scene in the bar, did Douglas walk up a ramp to the bar to be the same level as Wayne?? And what costume designer dressed Kirk Douglas?

Not manly

Love the film. Great Sirk. But Rock would never be considered manly, even when I saw it at age 13. Not that there is anything wrong with that.Still an enjoyable guilty pleasure. I went more for the John Larch type. 😂

Wasted talent, but still not horrible.

I feel like the studio head, looked at his roster and said make a movie in which we can use everybody we have on contract.

Love this movie. Victor Mature parodies himself marvelously.
