My headline says it all. I just don't understand why they seemed to extract a very small scene from "A Monster Calls" then created a painful watch out of it.

This film is unique and very creative since it did not follow the traditional and typical Alien-Vs-Humanity movies out there. In all the movies that fall with this same genre, this movie is very different from the others.

To be honest, "War of the Worlds" and "The Day The Earth Stood Still" suck much than this movie since they're very predictable and the way how Humanity fights with the Aliens is very non-realistic, it cannot convince a hysterical mind.

Aliens maybe strong physically but they need a human brain - an intelligence to function. And if Aliens are true, then of course there is no way to beat them, only something from their kind can. And so one heroic and rebelling human mind does it. A human body maybe soft, but with a strong "will" to pursue. That what Skyline is all about.

We demand part II ...

Out of its own genre and this movie does not deserve to be called by its own title. It is not what you are expecting about "monsters".

Maybe you must not interpret the title literally but the emphasis of "monsters" is very weak. You can't even tell also if what the makers want to show is what you understand on each scenes.

You can count how many appearances of monsters are there. And if they do, their movements are "questionable" and does not relate well to any of the scenes. This is pure chatting that's why there are no "monsters" really.

The ones that comment good on this film are obviously the makers themselves since they were the only ones who can understand their own crap! This is a result of someone's brain that was eaten by monsters so it did not produce a logical imagination.

I was hoping for this movie to reveal the real identity behind the legend of Robin Hood. Lots of ballads and legends emerged since the olden times trying to figure out that if certain Robert De Locksley A.K.A Robin Hood did really existed, I was hoping that those would be logically and properly arranged to come up with such a movie like this one but is rather REALLY REALLY DISAPPOINTING.

The movie-maker even created another fairy tale instead in the name of Robin Longstride. This is another hoax and we are all tired of seeing a re-invented story specially that there's no context to support it.

1. The sheriff of Nottingham who is supposed to be the cruel one and the primary nemesis

of Robin Hood just appeared to be a lame character in the movie.

2. Lady Marian who is supposed to be a daughter of another Sheriff should met Robin Hood

after he became an outlaw.

3. King Richard the Lion Heart didn't die in fighting with his enemies. Read the History moron.

4. Many more scenes you will hate ...

To Director Ridley Scott : The tale of Robin Hood does not need to be re-invented but rather to be solved basing from the existing ballads. You'll just need an intelligent mind to arrange the details logically.
