Sanctuary: Penance (2009)
Eye of Horus
Just as Magnus is seen walking down the alley you can clearly see a Eye of Horus on the brick wall. Just a nod to SG1, of which both actors starred in.
Law & Order: Criminal Intent: Contract (2008)
Oh Yeah, Hollywood KNEW
I find it extremely unlikely that I would be the first person to make this connection. Or it is possible that others have made the same connection I will be pointing out, and mine will also disappear.
This episode came out in 2008 and in 2017 the whole Harvey Weinstein scandal hit the news. The "Hollywood Producer" in this episode even resembled Harvey Weinstein.
Just like with "Family Guy" when Stewie claimed he'd been held in Keven Spacey's basement while running naked thru a mall in 2005. This was a little jab at a known "Secret" among the Hollywood Elites.
The Good Doctor: Spilled Milk (2021)
Women are Always Right, even when they're wrong
Clair rewrites her history with her mother to justify her hatred towards her father. Leah calls Sean selfish when in fact she was. How she can suddenly forget how he views the world and lashes out at him when he fails to act the way she wants him to just shows how far the new writers will go to make a point.
The Good Doctor: Newbies (2020)
Welcome to Woketopia
Starting with this episode and continuing on, we must be subjected to constant Woke Liberalism. White People Bad, People of Color Good. Of the newbies being considered, it was no brainer on who wasn't going to be picked. What was a show that was uplifting and showed how a person with disabilities can still prosper is now a lesson on racism.
Passengers (2016)
Depends on your Mindset, *Spoiler*
I'm a hard core Sci Fi fan and avid reader. With that said, this movie had some serious intellectual errors, design flaws, and common sense issues. However, I've yet to find a really good sci fi movie that covers all of that. Something to do with Hollywood I think. Putting that all aside, it had awesome visual effects and it followed a fairly standard romantic comedy theme with a little drama thrown in. I'd give it a 7, maybe 7.5 out of 10.
BUT, if you are a student or follower of all things hateful, then you will become very upset over the Helsinki type behavior and overall evil story line of a man tricking a poor helpless woman into falling in love with him, the "Ultimate Crime". I personally think they should have reversed the roles of Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence, thereby bypassing their 'outrage'.
